Losing Rush will always hit hard, No one could fill his shoes. But I think many different people remembering his words and challenging the corruption in thi world can really honor his memory.

I think that if America and the American way of life manages to last it will do so in part because of this man and his message at the age we have gone through.
I regard him as a later day American founding father in my book, not quite a fugure of those original founders of the USA, but certainly one who carried the idea of America in a liberal iconoclastic age.
AI is enough advanced today that using decades of his past commentary as guide it can have “Rush” commenting on today’s events, in his voice. It would be so authentic that even Rush himself would have been astonished. But someone needs to program the models.
Good Lord. That was the first time that I listened to that, I just couldn’t bring myself to sit down and listen to it after the fact. I’m glad I did, and I thank you for posting it.
I like the way you worded your commentary on the thread. It was nice, hit the target, at least for me.
As much as I am filled with dread these days, watching that gave me hope. I can’t say how, precisely, but it did. And that’s not a bad thing these days either.

It’s a different and difficult Christmas without Rush. I have listened to his Christmas broadcast every year since 1990.

He said I hope things in the coming year are certainly better than what we have endured in 2020. 2021 has to be better.
Though he knew then that he had little time left, little did he (or we) know how much worse they could get this past year. And yet we all hope that it will be better in 2022.
