the situation unfolding in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where supposedly angry protesters are clashing. We’re told the “Pro-Kyle” side is clashing with Black Lives Matter, and of course, tensions are growing and racial slurs are flying (insert eye roll here). Yes, some random guy with a bullhorn and a microphone tells an angry black guy to get his “black ass out of here.”

A call-center scammer has lost his appeal to overturn a $9m fine – after a court pointed out the crook had specifically waived the right to appeal when he pleaded guilty. Viraj Patel was part of a large India-based criminal enterprise that conned tens of thousands of Americans out of hundreds of millions of dollars: the swindlers would cold-call citizens and pose as US government officials demanding payment for unpaid taxes. But, it turns out that he wasn’t listening very carefully to either his lawyers or the federal district judge who sentenced him in Texas, because Patel was seemingly convinced...

Sometimes we must call the baby ugly. CTH has followed and mapped how Mitch McConnell operates for over a decade. Here’s the deal as we see it… Senate Leader Mitch McConnell has one major career alliance that has been unbroken and unchanged for well over two decades. That alliance is with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and specifically with CoC President Tom Donohue. [SEE HERE and SEE HERE]. Mitch McConnell is stealthily working against the efforts of President Donald Trump. The effort is to support his primary Wall Street financial benefactor, Donohue. However, Mitch McConnell cannot directly be connected to underhanded efforts...

A Fox News guest terrorism analyst was arrested on Thursday after a grand jury indicted him on charges of falsely claiming to have been a CIA agent for decades, US prosecutors said. Wayne Simmons, 62, of Annapolis, Maryland, bogusly portrayed himself as an “Outside Paramilitary Special Operations Officer” for the Central Intelligence Agency from 1973 to 2000, the US Attorney’s Office for Virginia’s Eastern District said in a statement. Simmons allegedly tried to use that claim to get government security clearances and work as a defense contractor. At one point he was deployed overseas as an intelligence adviser to senior...

At least two men got out of the truck wearing what appeared to be police uniforms. They also had guns. They robbed the victims of one of their cars and also took cash, cell phones and other belongings.

I was reading the Chron’s piece about Sheila Jackson Lee’s town hall, when something caught my eye: One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee’s district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system. “I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic,” she said. In this video, Mayer claims to be a general practitioner, eliciting applause and even a hug from Queen Sheila: I’m not sure why, but something didn’t smell right. So my colleagues and I did a little digging, and wouldn’t you know it? Roxana Mayer...

Law has trouble telling brothers apart Sunday, December 9, 2007 3:33 AM By Mary Beth Lane THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH LAURELVILLE, Ohio -- The four Roach brothers will gather, as usual, at their mother and stepfather's house in the Hocking Hills on Christmas Eve to sing carols. Wait, make that three of them. Chris Roach will not be there. He is in the Licking County jail. "As me!" said Rick Roach, indignantly. Chris, 42, was arrested and jailed as Rick, 43, using Rick's name, address and Social Security number. Chris has done this before. Licking County Municipal Court records show four...

The True Lover Of God Mary Lindow Jun 25 2006 06:04PM THE TRUE LOVER OF GOD DOES NOT NEED TO BE LAVISHED UPON BY MAN THE PRESENT EVILS AND PRESSURES OF OUR TIME ARE NOT NEW TO GOD OR......TO THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD! The Bride of Christ has been either over stroked with false platitudes or has been allowed to be spoiled with a gluttony of self-love, self-analysis, and self-promotion. All members of the Lord’s Body, leaders and simple followers, have all had the virus of “I WANNA BE SOMEBODY” attempt to sidetrack and infect the human nature side...

Authentic war heroes are rare, but their ranks are swollen by impostors. | Earlier this week, J.C. Ortiz of Mission admitted he had fooled hundreds in the Rio Grande Valley into believing he had earned the hero’s image he had so carefully crafted and borrowed from real Vietnam veterans. | Like so many other veteran impostors, he appeared at funerals, spoke at Memorial Day ceremonies and was a regular at local veteran establishments and military hangouts. But in reality, Ortiz, born Gerrald Jerome Bowman, never served in Vietnam or reached the rank of sergeant major. His medals were bought. His...

Terry Villaire, 69, has a neatly trimmed black goatee, pudgy expressive hands and penetrating dark eyes that are hard to avoid, even from the back pew.During a recent Mass at Holy Angels Parish in Fort Lauderdale, Villaire seemed more like a party host than a presiding bishop as he circulated, distributing kisses on ready lips and cheeks. Just as effortlessly, he slipped into the solemnity of a centuries-old ritual, singing over a wine chalice and wafers.''Our motto is love without judgment, and that's piqued some curiosity,'' said Villaire, a former Roman Catholic priest who's now a bishop in an independent...

Crooks Posing as Police By Brandon Truttling May 26, 2005 A pair of thieves pretended to be the good guys to pull off a bad crime Thursday, ripping off thousands of dollars from a homeowner by posing as police officers. The real police told Action News they wanted to catch up with the impostors before they could strike again. According to police, two people posing as police officers approached a southeast Detroit home near Military and Stark Thursday afternoon, then walked up to the homeowner as he was mowing the lawn. The fake officers told the man a bank was...

August 15, 2004 — For two days, a Palos Heights man passed himself off as an F-B-I agent while lecturing to hundreds of law-enforcement officers at a Chicago conference. But Mark Rizzo's cover was blown by day three. Real F-B-I agents arrested the impersonator in a conference room of a Chicago hotel yesterday. Federal prosecutors charged Rizzo with impersonating an F-B-I employee. The 51-year-old faces up to three years in prison. An F-B-I agent attending the conference checked out Rizzo's background after speaking to him and figured out he was an impersonator. Peotone-based National Gang Crime Research Center hosted the...

A group of five terrorists was arrested by a Polish quick reaction force in Iraq. There is no doubt, that the terrorists were responsible for the recent killing of two American civil workers and their Iraqi interpreter on March 9, 2004. At about eight o'clock at the evening (Baghdad Time) the Americans stopped their car at a check-point between the cities Kerbala and Al-Hilla manned by people wearing Iraqi police uniforms. It turned out to be a trap. The terrorist immediately opened fire killing both men and their female translator. Polish forces from the multinational division were alarmed by the...

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - The fraudulent website created by an unidentified critic of pro-gun researcher John Lott may, based on new information revealed Tuesday, be linked to an anti-gun advocacy group. The owner of "AskJohnLott.Org" also posted a disclaimer late Monday claiming the site was a parody. "That's like stealing money and then, when you get caught, saying you won't steal anymore," Lott said of the disclaimer Tuesday. "They're not giving the money back that they have already stolen." As CNSNews.com reported Monday, the "AskJohnLott.org" site is neither operated nor authorized by Lott, who said it contains misrepresentations of his...
