<p>HOLMDEL, N.J. -- The head coach of the Holmdel High School football team, Joe O'Connor, has resigned along with all nine assistant coaches over what O'Connor says was an undermining of his authority by the school administration.</p> <p>O'Connor quit Monday, saying the administration had reinstated a player after the coach made him leave the team over discipline problems. On Wednesday, nine assistant coaches decided to resign from the team as well in a show of solidarity with O'Connor.</p>

A wealthy businessman beat and choked his wife to death, and left her body inside her car at the PNC Bank Arts Center, authorities said. George Calleia, 43, was arrested Sunday and charged with murdering his wife, Susan, also 43. The couple had been married for 13 years. Calleia called 911 Friday morning to report his wife and her vehicle missing at about 6:15 a.m., Monmouth County Prosecutor Luis Valentin said.
