Multiple people have reportedly been shot inside a church in New Hampshire. About four people are believed to be injured in a shooting at New England Pentecostal Ministries on Bridge Street in Pelham, New Hampshire, Saturday morning. The man who claimed to have cremated Natalee Holloway’s remains was stabbed to death in western Florida. John Christopher Ludwick died Wednesday morning at a Sarasota County hospital after being knifed by a woman he knew, North Port police said in a Facebook post. The 32-year-old victim was trying to kidnap the woman as she got out of her car, cops said. Ludwick was stabbed during the ensuing scuffle and fled the woman’s driveway.

Authorities discovered human remains behind a house in Aruba, a grisly find that may finally crack the mystery surrounding a young woman’s disappearance 12 years ago. (CNN)A driver careened into a crowded sidewalk several times on the Las Vegas Strip, injuring over 30 people in what authorities described as an "intentional" act. At least one person was killed and 37 others injured near the Paris Las Vegas Hotel on Sunday night, authorities said. Authorities said the woman was driving down Las Vegas Boulevard before her car jumped onto the sidewalk and struck pedestrians. She returned to the sidewalk at different spots and hit more people before barreling down the road, according to witnesses.

On Memorial Day, 2010, Joran Van der Sloot murdered a young woman in a Peru hotel (no “alleged” needed in this case; he confessed). And as the whole world knows, the grisly crime occurred exactly five years after he killed the even younger Natalee Holloway on a beach in Aruba. Anchormen, commentators, and regular folks at the water cooler are talking about how avoidable this all was. If only the Aruba police and prosecutors had done their jobs better, five years ago… or if only the many private investigators and researchers had dug up some hard evidence in the intervening...
