The plot thickens in the story of ex-New England Patriots player Brian Holloway ... who went ballistic after his New York home was trashed by a horde of rowdy, drunken teen vandals. Turns out the house was already in disrepair and in FORECLOSURE, and his neighbors smell a rat.
TMZ has learned ... Holloway owes a whopping $1,006,348.80 on the house ... it appears he was delinquent on paying his mortgage and the bank then demanded payment of the entire balance.
Brian hasn't lived in the home for a long time -- he's in Florida -- and neighbors tell us they thought the house was abandoned. In fact, before the blow-out bash, neighbors say kids staged a number of parties in the house -- which has no furniture.
Neighbors think the kids who Brian is now attacking are getting a bad rap. They say there was already plenty of damage to the home before the party in question -- broken doors and damaged floors. And ... there was plenty of preexisting graffiti covering the walls.
Some neighbors are suspicious of Brian's motive in requesting financial help to pay for repairs on his PayPal account. They think he's trying to create sympathy so money floods in and he can save his house.
As for Brian ... he tells TMZ there was some preexisting damage, but the 300 hooligans really trashed his crib. He also says he's been trying to renegotiate with the bank for 2 years.
The clock is ticking -- the foreclosure sale is set for Oct. 29.
They put the damage they did on Facebook and Twitter.
so if I understand this: these poor kids \committed their crimes only after some others may have committed the same crime before them.
Sorry officer, but when I stabbed the man, he was already bleeding from someone who had stabbed him before me!
that won’t work in court....
I don’t care if they hosted an Emmy preparty and it was a day before foreclosure. They broke it, they damaged the house. They were proud enough to document and post it for posterity. They’d can suffer the consequences.
Poor widdle darlings should be given a free pass because they broke in and destroyed someone property. What planet did I wake up on this morning?
Just because the house was abandoned does not make it public property. The bank should go after the kids for the damage since they were the present owner!
It really wouldn’t matter. I don’t think he particularly wants to live there because he’s working here in Florida. But even if the house had been totally vacant, these precious parents, most of whom are probably raving liberals, shouldn’t have let their little darlings break in and trash the house.
One of my kids does real estate and she said that this is a major problem. So why are these parents defending their kids for doing this?
And I can tell you, most of them will be upper middle class white parents (the kids were all worried that their high-end college selections might be jeopardized) who either aren’t there most of the time, or simply don’t give a darn.
Today I was reading about all the parents who show up here at Disney faking handicaps or faking handicapped children so that they can jump the lines. Disney had a policy where the handicapped - simply because it takes them longer to get from place to place - could get in faster. They cancelled it just last week because so many creepy people were claiming to be the parents of handicapped children just to jump the lines.
I think we have a serious problem, not only among the ghetto dwellers, but among the folks at the top.
Did you see Brian’s response to this nonsense?
He said:
“I only have ONE neighbor, and he’s never been inside my house, because I don’t associate with guys who beat their wife.”
trashed his crib ...? Do people still talk like that?
Remind me of the ending to the story in which one spouse fires a shot at the other, misses, and hits and kills a guy that had was in the middle of self-defenestration from an apartment far above them?
OUCH, that definately is gonna leave a mark!
Same thing goes for people who are faking illnesses so they bring their nasty little butt licking lapdogs into public places where they have no business being. Not a week goes by where some does not attempt to bring in a “depression” or “mental health” dog.
I agree. The fake “service dogs.” Apparently you can buy a jacket on the Internet with “Service Dog” written on it and businesses aren’t even allowed to question it, no matter how phony it looks. (The genuinely handicapped have some kind of certificate for their dogs.)
