SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) - The prosecutor's office in Aruba says a jawbone with a tooth recently found on a beach does not belong to missing Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway.
The agency says that an analysis based on dental records rules out that the bone fragment came from her. It says forensic scientists in the Netherlands conducted a detailed examination.
Officials said Tuesday that the jawbone is human. It is unclear whom it belongs to.
The Mountain Brook, Alabama, student was 18 when she disappeared while on a high school graduation trip in 2005.

The Aruba cover-up continues...
“The bone with one tooth in it was found”
Really strange. A week or so ago there was a thread on this subject with two pictures, supposedly of what was found. Both pictures showed many more than one tooth?
Wonder which was correct?
Another human bone found. Just how many unidentified human bones does Aruba have?
There will never be closure for the family.
I wonder if it could be another of his victims.
Another stab to the hearts of Natalee’s family. Aruba seems to enjoy torturing them. Aruba didn’t have the courtesy to keep the family informed. Instead, Aruba made the family wait for the results along with everyone else. Yet, that American traitor, Julia Renfro, knew last night! It’s not right!
I was hoping it was the daughter of these poor people simply because it would tell them once and for all that she was deceased. I don’t know how they deal with everyday life NOT knowing (100% certain that is) that Natalie is dead and with God. Even if there was a .00001% chance that she was kidnapped or something else and alive, it would be understandable to hold onto that slim, small margin. Just a thought.
I was on a treadmill next to an older lady at the Y and she said the one they found last week was Natalee Holloway’s.
So this must be a decoy.
Maybe the Piltdown man had a girlfriend?
How many missing persons do they have ?
The question is, does anyone believe a word that comes out of the mouth of Aruban authorities?
Yeah, how many sets of human remains could possibly be on that beach?
No. Imho, all they care about is protecting their tourism industry.
ping
Was hoping her parents would have some answers. Our oldest daughter graduated the same year and was headed to the same college as Natalie. So sad.
Yes, very sad.
Nancy Grace already was on scene for breaking news. Greta was ready to spend the next 8 weeks covering the story.
There have been people coming to Aruba for 1000’s of years.
The Mayans and Aztecs probably vacationed there too(sarc).
It could have been from an African slave brought there in 1600’s to work on a sugar cane plantation. It could be a Spanish soldier from the 1500’s. It could be a pirate from the 1600’s. It could be some fisherman that drowned in the 1940’s.
It could be anyone.
LOL, or Jimmy Hoffa
