“Overzealous” legal backlash over the Carlee Russell kidnapping hoax came only because a Black woman was at the center of it, The Atlantic writer Jemele Hill tweeted. After it was found that Russell, a 24-year-old nursing student, had fabricated the story of her abduction, police officers filed two misdemeanor charges against the Alabama woman. State lawmakers are also seeking to increase the penalties for faking a kidnapping. Through her X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Hill called these efforts “overzealous” actions taken because of Russell’s race, claiming the same thing would not have happened if she was White.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that former President Donald Trump would not have had the courage to go to the Capitol during the January 6, 2021 riot. During footage taken on January 6, 2021 by her daughter Alexandra Pelosi, the speaker said she would happily go to jail for punching President Donald Trump if he came to the Capitol. During his speech on January 6, Trump said, “And after this, we’re going walk down, and I’ll be there with you. We’re going walk down to the Capitol.”

Vladimir Putin is determined to shape the future to look like his version of the past. Russia’s president invaded Ukraine not because he felt threatened by NATO expansion or by Western “provocations.” He ordered his “special military operation” because he believes that it is Russia’s divine right to rule Ukraine, to wipe out the country’s national identity, and to integrate its people into a Greater Russia. He laid out this mission in a 5,000-word treatise, published in July 2021, entitled, “On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians.” In it, Putin insisted that Belarusians, Russians, and Ukrainians are all descendants...

Former Trump White House national security official Fiona Hill said Russian President Vladimir Putin had “to explain everything to all the time” to former President Trump. “He had to keep explaining things, and Putin doesn’t like to do that,” Hill said this week, speaking at a Chicago Council on Global Affairs event in remarks reported by Insider. Hill added that Putin intentionally chose to invade Ukraine during President Biden’s tenure in the White House.

Anita Hill said in a podcast released Thursday that President Joe Biden did not take responsibility for the "harm" he caused sexual misconduct accusers across the country during the wrenching Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings.

Two years ago next week, deep in the mists of time before the Chinese virus, a California congresswoman named Katie Hill was forced to resign from the U.S. House of Representatives because she got caught banging her staffers. Ever since, Hill has tried to frame herself as a champion for women, claiming her resignation was a reaction to “revenge porn.” She says her ex-husband leaked nude pictures of her, including one where she’s brushing the hair of one of her female staffers. And she claims she resigned because she didn’t want the scandal to be a distraction from impeaching Trump,...

Fiona Hill says Trump was fixated on Putin, not Russia © Greg Nash Fiona Hill, a former National Security Council official and White House adviser who served in the Trump administration, said former President Trump’s “fixation” was on Russian President Vladimir Putin and not the country itself. Hill, during a Tuesday appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” said Trump saw qualities in Putin that he wanted to emulate. “For Trump, his fixation was on Putin. It wasn't on Russia it was on Putin himself, it's what he saw in Putin that he saw many qualities that he wanted to have himself,”...

A Trump campaign advisor who promised to eat his shoe if Joe Biden won the election is now refusing to do so, making the false claim that former President Donald Trump won instead. Harlan Hill, a political consultant and commentator, made the bold promise to The Atlantic at Steve Bannon's election-night party on November 7, 2020. He said he was "one hundred percent" certain of Trump's victory and, when asked what he would do if Trump lost, he told the outlet: "I'll eat my shoe. We'll do it in a livestream." Following Biden's inauguration, Mediaite followed up on Hill's plans....

Anita Hill is in the news again, this time unveiling a report by the Hollywood Commission, a nonprofit she heads allegedly devoted to addressing sexual harassment and other woke matters in Hollywood. Hill’s big finding? A high number of people surveyed, 64 percent, believe someone in a position of power will not be held accountable for sexual harassment. Why this troubling number? Because leftist, radical feminists such as Hill continually inject politics into this problem. Hill and the feminist movement have turned the serious crimes of sexual assault and harassment into a political game. Instead of fighting to bring every...

“Joe Biden knew Anita Hill was going to be an issue for him,” noted the Times. “So a few weeks ago, as he prepared for his presidential announcement, he reached out to her through an intermediary and arranged a telephone call, hoping to assuage her. It did not go how he had hoped.”On the literal first day of his presidential campaign, team Biden disclosed the phone call, saying the former chairman of the Judiciary Committee expressed to Hill “his regret for what she endured.” But alas, Hill told the Times, “the call from Mr. Biden left her feeling deeply unsatisfied.”The...

President Trump's job approval rating on the economy and jobs is holding steady, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds. Fifty-three percent of registered voters in the July 24-26 survey approve of the president's job on the economy, a 1 percentage point dip from the previous survey conducted July 7-10. Similarly, 54 percent of voters in the poll said they approved of how Trump is working to create jobs.

Jemele Hill illogically tweeted all Trump voters are racist. It turns out, her mom voted for Trump. My latest @Outkick explores Hill's quest to install fear into every American who doesn't think exactly like her.

Former vice president Joe Biden repeatedly said on The View on Friday that he believed Anita Hill from the moment he heard her tale of sexual harassment by Clarence Thomas. But he previously told Sen. Arlen Specter that it was clear her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee included lies. “Not only didn’t I vote for Clarence Thomas, I believed her from the beginning. I was against Clarence Thomas, I did everything in my power to defeat Clarence Thomas and he won by the smallest margin anyone ever won going on the Supreme Court,” Biden told “The View’s” Joy Behar....

Democratic Assemblywoman Christy Smith of Santa Clarita and Republican former Navy pilot Mike Garcia were in a tight race Tuesday night to succeed Rep. Katie Hill in one of California’s most competitive congressional districts, in the northern suburbs of Los Angeles, according to early election returns. Former Rep. Steve Knight, the Republican who was ousted by Hill, a Democrat, in 2018, was close behind in an election that is likely to yield two runoffs - one in May to fill Hill’s seat for the rest of the year and another in November for the full two-year term that starts in...

A key witness in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election has been indicted with seven others on charges of conspiring to funnel more than $3 million in illegal foreign campaign contributions for that year’s elections, the Justice Department announced. George Nader, an adviser to the United Arab Emirates who acted as an intermediary for members of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign seeking to forge contacts in the Middle East, was charged with conspiring to make conduit campaign contributions and related offenses in a 53-count indictment unsealed Tuesday in Washington, prosecutors said.

While the fake news media are trying to convince you that Trump investigating the obvious and blatant corruption of the Biden family in Ukraine is a crime, one of their witnesses declared that Obama danced to Putin's tune. ... Hill testified that Obama refused to provide lethal aid to Ukraine so as to not upset Putin. That's pretty clear evidence that Obama, not Trump, was in Putin's pocket. Hill's testimony also creates problems for the Democrats' impeachment narrative. After all, the elite policy wonks said the U.S. should arm Ukraine to help defeat Russia's invasion, but Obama said he wouldn't...

State Department staffer David Holmes refused to promise Congress on Thursday afternoon that he would be more responsible in future with sensitive communications. The political officer for the U.S. embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, was testifying in the last public hearing of the House Intelligence Committee impeachment inquiry. He said that he had overheard a phone conversation at an outdoor restaurant between President Donald Trump and U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland in which Trump had mentioned “investigations.” Though he did not take notes of that portion of the call, and had been drinking wine, Holmes said that his...
