“Overzealous” legal backlash over the Carlee Russell kidnapping hoax came only because a Black woman was at the center of it, The Atlantic writer Jemele Hill tweeted.
After it was found that Russell, a 24-year-old nursing student, had fabricated the story of her abduction, police officers filed two misdemeanor charges against the Alabama woman.
State lawmakers are also seeking to increase the penalties for faking a kidnapping.
Through her X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Hill called these efforts “overzealous” actions taken because of Russell’s race, claiming the same thing would not have happened if she was White.

Sherri Papini caused a national story for weeks, and got 18 months in federal prison.
Oh, and the Papini and Petito cases caused accusations of “cute white girl syndrome” for media and law enforcement responses.
She is so ignorant. A white woman was put in jail not too long ago for the same thing. She doesn’t even try to learn or research anything.

More blacks than you might think really do believe they should not be obligated to follow the rules and laws of our society.
Which is the real reason so many black men get into a bad spot with police because they absolutely refuse to comply with the simplest of police directions.
Why you might ask?
Because for decades now they have been taught America is a racist country built on the backs of their slave ancestors, and wouldn’t be what it is without that “fact”. That notion can be used for a myriad of excuses to behave the way they do. From claiming they can’t get a job because of racism to claiming racist white police hunt them down and shoot them for no reason.
THAT is their “critical thinking”.

Today, everything is racists. Taking a crap is racists. Wiping one’s butt is racists. Going to bed is racists. Eating breakfast is racists. Drinking coffee is racists. The story was dubious at best right at the outset. Police were on to her quickly...there was no need to expand the search. Simple.
Generally speaking- the ones screaming racism the loudest are the worst racists among the people. This women is the epitome of this phenomenon.
