O’Donnell lives in Lone Mountain, a neighborhood in Las Vegas, and he will run against incumbent Democrat Susie Lee in November in Nevada’s third congressional district, assuming O’Donnell prevails in the Republican primary in June. O’Donnell has to officially file to run in March. SNIP “America enjoyed a secure border and no inflation in the Trump administration four years ago,” O’Donnell said. “I have voted for President Trump twice and will vote for him a...

Western mainstream press previously lauded Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a guardian of democracy. However, as ex-Donald Trump adviser Steve Cortes observes in his Newsweek op-ed, its tone is changing. The Zelensky narrative used by western media "has palpably shifted" over the last few weeks, according to Steve Cortes, a US political consultant, market strategist and former Trump campaign adviser. This shift particularly comes in relation to the latest CBS News report which alleged that "much of the billions of dollars of military aid that the US is sending to Ukraine doesn't make it to the front lines." Cortes also cites...

In the pantheon of video game mascots, few figures are as iconic as Master Chief from the “Halo” series. Donning his famous green armored spacesuit, he ventured into hostile worlds, taking down the Covenant, an alien race intent on conquering the universe and accessing the ring worlds, or “haloes,” left over by another more ancient alien race, the Forerunners. It was only a matter of time before idea-starved Hollywood adapted the popular series to TV or film. Already they have made movies for other popular video game franchises, such as “Super Mario,” “Resident Evil,” “Mortal Kombat,” “World of Warcraft,” “Tomb...

There’s nothing angelic about Amazon’s new wearable technology. Halo, Amazon’s new AI health bracelet, offers body composition analysis, tone of voice analysis, sleep & activity tracking. Presumably, this new tech is another convenient application to bring awareness to users of such things as too much body fat or if their tone is a bit too abrasive or “condescending.” While some individuals may benefit from both of these nudges, a recent review of Halo by the Washington Post (the unabashed purveyor of the loss of civil liberties) forcibly admits that Halo is the “most invasive tech we’ve ever tested.” Authors Geoffrey...

With the first two major elements of NASA’s Lunar Gateway under contract and development, Northrop Grumman has outlined their plans for the overall Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) module, which will serve as the primary habitation and nexus for the lunar station. HALO will now launch in a fully integrated configuration with Maxar’s Power and Propulsion Element — a change that has brought about alterations to HALO. The duo will launch aboard a yet-to-be-officially confirmed rocket from the Florida spaceport in 2023. The cargo items now excluded from launching on HALO will have to be delivered separately on a future...

Outpost Discovery is a 300,000 square foot, traveling amusement park packed with experiences from Xbox's pivotal sci-fi series, and it's set to start touring the US this summer. The show will land in Orlando, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston and finally Anaheim between July and September. Outpost Discovery is scheduled to run for a single weekend in each city, where it will feature a real-life Halo Ring and Warthog (sounds like it's not actually drive-able, by the way), a laser tag arena, escape room, VR and simulation stations loaded with Halo experiences, and panels to attend. The Halo Ring attraction is a...

Android users will now be able to use Microsoft’s digital assistant on their devices. After announcing in May, software giant Microsoft has officially rolled out the beta version of its voice-based assistant Cortana to Google’s popular platform. The Cortana app on Android will basically extend the digital assistant’s functionality across any device you carry and will do most of the things it does on your PC or Windows Phone. It will now allow Android users to easily search the web on-the-go, track flight details, set reminders, and also complete tasks across all the devices. You can now change the home...

With the US denouncing actions left, right, and center, it is tough to know what they stand for (or against) as the coup-less coup appears to have turned into a bloody civil war. Casualty reports vary; from 278 people dead (health ministry) to 2,000 dead (Muslim Brotherhood) including 43 policemen and from 2,001 injured (health ministry) to 10,000 (Muslim Brotherhood). As the dreadful images below suggest, the Egyptian people have grown divided beyond the point of no return, and despite the jingoist platitudes and rhetoric of John Kerry describing the "deplorable" situation on the ground, the reality of a civil...

Check out the photograph of the Obamessiah accompanying this White House blog entry: TUE, SEPTEMBER 1, 12:31 PM EST Photostream: Work and Rest in August Posted by Kori Schulman You may need to search for this caption: (President Barack Obama addresses a town hall meeting on health insurance reform inside a hangar at Gallatin Field in Belgrade, Mont., on Aug. 14, 2009. Look at the halo: Either the airplane hanger has a light directly behind Obama's head, or a halo has been photoshoped surrounding the messiah.

He said he would reinstitute a pay-as-you-go rule that calls for spending reductions to match increases and would shun what he said were the past few years' "casual dishonesty of hiding irresponsible spending with clever accounting tricks." He called the long-term solvency of Social Security "the single most pressing fiscal challenge we face by far" and said reforming health care, including burgeoning entitlement programs, was a huge priority.Wall Street seemed unimpressed by all the talk. The Dow Jones industrials dropped 251 points for the day.

Things may be getting a little more stylish up on the DMZ (the Korean Demilitarized Zone) when Republic of Korea troops don their new high-tech battle uniforms. Accessories could include bulletproof helmets and a new assault rifle. The Agency for Defense Development will begin the two-phase development on a new combat uniform beginning next year, according to The Korea Times. "The agency has completed studies on the concept of the future combatant uniform and equipment,'" an unnamed official told the newspaper. "From next year, we plan to begin developing related technology and equipment after getting approval from the Defense Acquisition...

The joystick has brought Ben Stiller nothing but sorrow. Industry expectations for "The Heartbreak Kid," the date movie that re-teamed him with the Farrelly brothers (the duo who made him a megastar in "There's Something About Mary"), called for a $20 million to $25 million opening for the film. Instead, "Kid," which cost north of $60 million to make, managed only $14 million in the U.S. and Canada -- heartbreaking, indeed.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Microsoft's (MSFT.O) "Halo 3" has dominated video game headlines this week, but if blasting aliens isn't appealing there is more on offer in other games, including role-playing the composer Frederic Chopin. "Halo 3" is also only available on Microsoft's Xbox 360, so owners of Sony's (6758.T) PlayStation 3 or Nintendo's (7974.OS) Wii have to look elsewhere. The good news is that there are a number of games that have garnered high marks from reviewers and don't involve plasma rifles or parasitic alien life forms. "'Halo' is sucking up a lot of the publicity right now but...
