How Zelensky is Losing His Halo, May Soon Outlive His Usefulness for West

Western mainstream press previously lauded Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a guardian of democracy. However, as ex-Donald Trump adviser Steve Cortes observes in his Newsweek op-ed, its tone is changing.

The Zelensky narrative used by western media "has palpably shifted" over the last few weeks, according to Steve Cortes, a US political consultant, market strategist and former Trump campaign adviser.

This shift particularly comes in relation to the latest CBS News report which alleged that "much of the billions of dollars of military aid that the US is sending to Ukraine doesn't make it to the front lines." Cortes also cites the New York Times' Thomas L. Friedman, who admitted earlier this month that "there is deep mistrust between the White House and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine — considerably more than has been reported."

Concerns also appear to be simmering over Zelensky firing his prosecutor general and intelligence chief on July 18 without explanations. "I have still not seen any reporting that convincingly explains what that was all about," Friedman wrote. "It is as if we don’t want to look too closely under the hood in Kiev for fear of what corruption or antics we might see, when we have invested so much there."

They are feeling heat and he is wearing thin on people in many ways.
Soon the globalists will fire him and bring in a new “reformer” and then they’ll get a year out of him.

“much of the billions of dollars of military aid that the US is sending to Ukraine doesn’t make it to the front lines.”

He’s halfway there. How many billions were laundered back to politicians in the US?

And the new guy will have a new look. No T-shirt and unshaven because I have been out on the front lines. It’ll be a suit this time.

Policies the same, new look. It also insulates DC and London from Zelinsky’s corruption.

Hmm, let’s see: A RuZZIan propagandist writing in RuZZIan propaganda rag Sputnik, citing Thomas Friedman of the New York Times and gratuitously mentioning Greta Thunberg and Anthony Fauci in a feeble and transparent attempt to somehow connect with conservative American readers.

Nothing fishy about that at all. Just pathetic.

Thanks, Ivan!

Bullfeathers. Just more Russian propaganda making allegations of waste or corruption on the part of the Ukrainians without evidence.

If you want real corruption just look at Artemis: $93 billion to redevelop "off the shelf" technology that was already obsolete when they started, with no performance requirements and endless overruns, simply to keep politically connected aerospace contractors rolling in dough.

Less than $100 billion to shatter what was supposedly the world's second best military is a bargain.

Although I side with the Uke civilians against the Soviet invasion, to me this man is just as corrupt as anyone over there. It pisses me off to no end that our tax $ are being squandered by this POS, but I hope the Soviets lose.

Fought them personally before. Old enemies die hard.

Fix our borders, then get ready for China.

Stop chasing squirrels.

Within 12 months, Zelensksy will be in a chopper from the roof of the Presidential palace, carrying suitcases full of cash, ala Ashraf Ghani in Afghanistan.

What’s the betting line?

Yeah, they identified a target audience and played all the cards. Still won’t stop Russia’s military falling apart in Ukraine, though, and Russia’s military reputation going into the toilet.

The weapons hit some NATO point of entry, some planes offload, some take off to complete the international arms market deal. Then the money gets funneled back to DC.

Of course the money does not make it to the front lines.
It’s laundered back to Biden Crime Family and RATs.

So the Clintons and Bidens have been milking the Ukrainian money laundering cow for their cut of our billions of tax dollars and now that Republicans can turn the heat up they cut the cord, get ahead of the narrative, plead ignorance of the corruption that ‘recently has come to light’, leave their accomplices holding the bag while all their intentions were supposedly legit.

When a person like Hunter Biden with zero experience in international oil and gas negotiates a salary of exactly $1 million per year (83,333/mo) that stinks to high heaven. “You want access to the big guy that will be one million per year.” Who the hell ever got an even number like that in the real world?
