Independent Veterans of America CEO Paul Rieckhoff claimed Friday on MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour” that Ukrainians are “more American” than the American people. Rieckhoff said, “Donald Trump has completely betrayed Ukraine. He has stabbed them in the back and every week he needs to twist it and drive it deeper with a new move that cuts more of their legs out from under them.” Host Stephanie Ruhle asked, “What do you say to the person who says, I don’t care about Ukraine, I want Donald Trump to stand up for Russia?”

Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk revealed that he is a guest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s and plans to attend his speech before Congress. Musk was spotted earlier on Wednesday at the United States Capitol ahead of Netanyahu’s 2:00 p.m. speech. The reopened House ethics probe into Rep. Matt Gaetz continues to ramp up, as the committee in recent weeks has contacted multiple new witnesses as part of its ongoing investigation into the Florida congressman, sources tell ABC News. In recent days, the Republican-led House Ethics Committee has reached out to multiple new witnesses, expanding its contact with individuals who have ties to the initial Justice Department investigation into Gaetz, said sources, who told ABC News that committee investigators have begun conducting interviews. Sources say in recent days, in addition to focusing on possible lobbying violations by Gaetz, the Ethics Committee...

Last Thursday, an "Ask Amy" advice column published by the Chicago about "very politically progressive" overly sensitive and entitled liberals so absurd that people were asking if it was even real. There's no indication it's parody, though, and it just goes to show you how crazy the left can be. In this specific instance, it happens to be about a bride and her mother who disinvited the bride's uncle, and yet the mother wrote in because they still wanted the wedding gift from said uncle. Amy Dickinson, who does the advice column, put the mother in her place, though she...

President Biden made a happy occasion awkward Monday night after telling a White House guest to “hush up, boy” during an event marking the Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr. During the lively reception commemorating the end of Ramadan, Biden teased the audience with what he promised would be the “quickest speech I ever made in my life” ahead of scheduled 6 p.m. prayers. But when an unidentified audience member continued to talk over him, the president’s mood turned. “You want to come and make a speech?” the 80-year-old Biden asked the guest. “‘Hush up, boy,’ as my mother would say.”

Donald Trump has invited conservative activist James O’Keefe to attend the final presidential debate as his guest, according to a new report. "One of Trump's 'secret' debate guests is James O'Keefe. Watch yourself, gullible libs!” tweeted Bloomberg reporter Joshua Green. Trump’s campaign CEO and former Breitbart News chief Steve Bannon told CNN’s Brian Stelter that the campaign had several “surprise guests” planned for Wednesday night’s debate. O’Keefe made headlines this week after he posted several undercover videos that he alleges show Democratic operatives talking about stirring up mischief against the Republican presidential nominee’s campaign.

"The New York State Legislature needs to Raise the Age of criminal responsibility, and they need to do it this year," demands the subheadline on MSNBC.com's landing page this afternoon for a story headlined, "Stop charging kids as adults." The column, co-authored by former NAACP president Ben Jealous and actress Rosario Dawson, promotes a push by the Citizens Committee for Children of New York [CCCNY] to change Empire State law so that minors aged 16 years old cannot be charged as adults. Jealous and Dawson don't disclose to what age they believe the age of criminal responsibility should be raised,...

It's a story of "I do"s and don't's: Police say a guest at a Long Island wedding tried to make off with the couple's gifts. The 18-year-old was awaiting arraignment Sunday after being arrested on a grand larceny charge. He was at Larry and Joanna Williamson's wedding Saturday at West Sayville Country Club in Sayville. Suffolk County police say the maître d' got suspicious when he spotted the teen in the coat room, carrying a box full of envelopes that had been given to the couple. The maître d' alerted the bride. Last Sunday, Up with Chris Hayes host Chris Hayes ignited significant outrage with his musings about the word “heroes.” This morning, Up panelist and national security reporter for The Nation Jeremy Scahill waded into controversial semantic waters by repeatedly accusing President Obama of “murder” through the administration’s use of drone strikes, which have killed an indeterminate number of civilians. Surprisingly, Scahill’s indictment of the President was challenged, not by Hayes, but by Redstate.com co-founder Joshua Treviño. The topic of discussion was the so-called “kill list” of suspected terrorists to be exterminated in drone strikes. Hayes began by trying to drill...

SALT LAKE CITY — A state Republican delegate behind the effort to repeal Utah's illegal immigration reform bill called drafters of the legislation "traitors" Wednesday. At the same news conference, Brandon Beckham basically demanded the GOP-controlled Utah Legislature repeal HB116 by Sept. 30. The bill would establish a guest worker program for undocumented immigrants in 2013. "Those who drafted this bill are traitors to Utah and they will be held accountable by voters in 2012," he said with Sen. Stephen Urquhart, R-St. George, and Rep. Chris Herrod, R-Provo, and others standing behind him in the Capitol rotunda. Both lawmakers favor...

Although the clip below from CBS’s Face The Nation is not as confrontational as the title to this post might suggest, it’s actually much funnier. Bob Schieffer annually hosts a roundtable in an attempt to bring together for an intellectual conversation four authors who wrote serious historical or political books. This year authors Ron Chernow (Washington: A Life), Arianna Huffington (Third World America), Edmund Morris (Colonel Roosevelt), and Bob Woodward (Obama’s Wars) participated in the thoughtful and sedate conversation, that is until a sound rarely, if ever, heard on a Sunday morning news show caught all viewers by surprise:

Mark Murray writes: The liberal Web site Talking Points Memo is reporting that conservative provocateur Andrew Breitbart -- who posted the very misleading excerpt of Shirley Sherrod's address to the NAACP -- is set to participate in an August fundraiser with RNC Chairman Michael Steele. Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele has a party fundraising event coming up in August that is scheduled to feature a very special guest: Conservative media activist Andrew Breitbart, according to a copy of the invitation exclusively obtained by TPM.

A powerful Republican state senator said Monday he plans to sponsor legislation creating a one-of-a-kind Utah guest-worker card for immigrants. In doing so, Sen. Howard Stephenson will challenge federal authority as sole enforcer of immigration law and present a business-backed alternative to Arizona-style reform. “I believe the states have the power to regulate this a lot more than other people realize,” said Stephenson, who also heads the business-backed Utah Taxpayers Association.”We can have a legal guest-worker permit system in the state of Utah that would be regulated by the private sector at the cost of the employer and employee.”

Angry house guest causes great damage STAR ISLAND, Fla., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- A house guest trashed a Florida multimillionaire developer's patio, causing $50,000 in damage -- and claiming she did it because he owes her money.
