The U.S. government must launch a probe into the Chinese overseas law enforcement operation in New York City, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation, as other countries raise the alarm over reports of police stations on their soil. “How in God’s name could they openly have these communist police stations in our country?” Beau Dietl, retired NYPD detective, told the DCNF. “This shows the Chinese Communist Party is not afraid to exert its will outside of China, and we should do all that we can to counter this behavior,” Senate Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Jim Risch of Idaho...

The enigmatic drones looming over the tri-state area are likely a deliberate distraction by a foreign power trying to hide other nefarious activities in the US, one expert has claimed. “These drones and this activity is too large, too well-organized to be the work of hobbyists,” Gordon Chang, a senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute think-tank and author of “Plan Red: China’s Project to Destroy America,” told Fox Business. “And that sort of leaves foreign powers. It could be Iran, it could be Iran in connection with China, but clearly, somebody is trying to absorb our attention,” he claimed of...

Xi Jinping has put the fate of his country and regime in the hands of others, especially the next leader of the country he considers an enemy, the United States. Yes, China’s ruler, who many consider the world’s most powerful figure, is, in reality, helpless. How did that happen?in short, Xi did it to himself. ...he has consistently rejected common sense advice to boost consumer spending to make it the basis of the Chinese economy, and almost all his recently announced stimulus measures will directly or indirectly erode consumption. This means Xi has only one option left: export his way out of...

The Washington Post Editorial Board went to bat for the federal government colluding with Big Tech to police so-called disinformation online. Gatestone Institute Senior Fellow Gordon Chang was having none of it. “Don’t defund the fight against Russia and China’s disinformation,” decried the Board in the editorial. In the editorial, the Board defended the State Department-tied Global Engagement Center’s financing of the now-infamous Global Disinformation Index (initially based in the U.K.), which has since been panned for blacklisting right-leaning American media. The Post propagandized how the GEC “deploys a $61 million budget and a staff of 125 to counter disinformation...

Already, America is under attack from China, according to a new report. For example, authorities near Fresno, California, found a secret Chinese biological weapons lab containing pathogens like Ebola. There, mice were being genetically engineered to spread diseases. Further, Chinese agents could gun down Americans, bomb power stations, attack military bases, start wildfires, poison reservoirs, and more. China expert Gordon Chang, in a report at The Gatestone Institute, where he is a distinguished senior fellow, explained such schemes "come straight out of Unrestricted Warfare, a 1999 book written by two Chinese air force colonels and first published by the PLA Literature...

‘Blood now soaks the soil of 3 continents. Aggressors are now on killing sprees’ Back before World War II there were multiple small, regional conflicts that had developed. Eventually they merged. And that is exactly what is developing now, according to an expert on international events, and Joe Biden is allowing it. “Biden has opened the floodgates of Hell. Although nothing is inevitable, we are fast approaching the point where, as a practical matter, he will not be able to stop China and Russia, directly and through proxies, from merging existing conflicts and turning them into the next global war,”...

On Friday, China expert Gordon Chang joined Newsmax’s Carl Higbie FRONTLINE and said China is experimenting with what appears to be biological weapons targeting human brains. The claims were detailed in a report by The Washington Times. China‘s military is developing advanced psychological warfare and brain-influencing weapons as part of a new warfighting strategy, according to a report on People’s Liberation Army cognitive warfare. The report, “Warfare in the Cognitive Age: NeuroStrike and the PLA’s Advanced Psychological Weapons and Tactics,” was published earlier this month by The CCP Biothreats Initiative, a research group. “The PLA is at the forefront of...

“I see aliens from over a hundred countries,” war correspondent Michael Yon, who is currently near the Darien Gap, told Gatestone, “including growing rivers of Chinese, Arabs of many sorts, Afghans of various sorts, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Iranians, Venezuelans, and on and on.” By far, most are military-aged men unencumbered by impulse control or political correctness.”There are definitely “people of interest” coming through. Some appear desperate to leave their homelands. Others, however, look as if they have malign intentions. When asked where they are going, for instance, they clam up.At the southern border, the U.S. Border Patrol has apprehended migrants with...

The idea was that China's regime, given a stake in the existing system, would then defend it... By now, however, that bet looks like a mistake history will remember. For as the Communist Party grew stronger, it did not align itself with its Western supporters. On the contrary, it came to believe it could avenge centuries-old grievances and remake the world in its own image. The West's generous approach created the one thing it had hoped to avoid: an aggressive state redrawing its borders by force, attacking liberal values around the world, and undermining institutions at the heart of the...

TikTok, the extremely popular video-sharing app, is in the midst of another round of negotiations with the U.S. federal government over data security. The Biden administration should terminate the seemingly endless discussions and either require TikTok to stop operations in the U.S. or force its Chinese owner to sell the app lock, stock and barrel to American parties. No other solution is acceptable from national security and First Amendment points of view. President Joe Biden’s failure to counter the known threat of the TikTok platform is a prime example of Washington’s bipartisan inability to recognize the comprehensive nature of the...

Just over a week ago, Chinese leader Xi Jinping embarked on a three-day trip to Central Asia to mark his sphere of influence. He has since been out of the public eye, skipping a high-level military meeting and the annual United Nations assembly. With China only weeks away from the 20th National Congress, where Xi is set to pursue an unprecedented third term, his absence has been long enough to attract attention from keen political watchers, with some even speculating that he has been placed under house arrest.By Sept. 24, Xi Jinping had become one of the top trending topics on...

Disarray on Taiwan: Is Biden Still Commander-in-Chief? – President Joe Biden may no longer be making foreign policy, and it is unclear whether he is still discharging the duties as commander-in-chief. On “60 Minutes” on Sunday, Biden, in response to a question from Scott Pelley, declared the United States would send troops to defend Taiwan “if in fact there was an unprecedented attack.”

To stimulate the economy, China’s regulators are forcing Chinese banks to meet high loan quotas. To hit the difficult-to-attain targets, ingenious bankers are lending and simultaneously allowing borrowers to deposit identical amounts with their institutions at identical interest rates. Companies no longer want money to launch new projects. Pessimism about the economy dominates thinking in Chinese boardrooms and throughout the rest of society. The big story is not that the Chinese economy is falling apart.

Add one more critical shortage to the world's swollen list. Countries for months have been hoarding fertilizer - and now they are weaponizing it, making sales in return for geopolitical favors. Last July, China's National Development and Reform Commission stopped major companies from exporting fertilizer. In September, Beijing imposed a prohibition on exports of phosphates, a primary fertilizer ingredient, until at least the middle of this year. In October, Chinese officials added inspection requirements to aid enforcement of the bans. The moves were a reaction to rising prices in China and elsewhere. China's fertilizer bans created shortages. The country's traditional...

“I think it’s a disaster for China,” said J Capital Research’s Anne Stevenson-Yang, referring to Beijing’s support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Foreign policy elites have for years thought about how to break up the growing China-Russia partnership. Now, they should be cheering the tie-up and hope the two large states get even closer. Why? Russia is fast diminishing China.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) describes the "Olympic Spirit" as one of "mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play." If the IOC expected China to play along with this spirit when they inexplicably awarded the 2022 Winter Games to a communist autocracy with an unparalleled record of human rights abuses and brazen espionage, they are gravely mistaken and hopelessly naïve. But as it turns out, China's failure to play fair is just the beginning of their sinister ambitions. Gordon Chang, author of The Great U.S.-China Tech War, joined "Washington Watch" to describe the extent to which...
