Interesting gossip out of the classic rock world today: apparently Steely Dan producer Greg Katz once had to fire the Eagles’ Don Henley from tracking vocals on Steely Dan’s 1977 hit “Peg.” And it’s still awkward. He died of complications from ongoing health problems Glenn Frey, a founding member of the Eagles, has died after suffering from ongoing health problems, the legendary rock band said. He was 67. Glenn Frey, a founding member and guitarist of the Eagles, has died ... TMZ has learned. Frey had been battling intestinal issues for months and had surgery in November.
