Freepers, I asked the gentleman who's selling (or brokering) the domain name DJT.com what they want for it he said $100k or best offer. A lot of money but really pertinent with November in mind. The question is should we have a whip round and crowd purchase this name? Is that even possible/legal, etc? I don't know but it's a nice name with the Election on the horizon. If not us getting our hands on it the Trump campaign perhaps should! 😂

Im not enjoying the free republic lime I used to. Too many newbies that are trolls, looking for someone to drag into their abyss of self hatred. Theres been a lot of posts linked to posters with no bios, I think admin needs to limit the number of posts or remove those without any bio info.

Before I even knew what a "meme" was, I remember discovering the most incredible ones and knowing exactly who crafted them. Since then, many of their names have escaped me in the span of time. As I reflect on over 20 years since joining FR, I'm reminded of members who are no longer with us (due to bans or departures) but whose art shaped much of our common history. It's been ten days since our very prolific and wonderful FReeper FRiend Nick Carraway posted anything. Anybody got any idea where he might be? I hope he's all right. He posts so many eclectic articles that are fun to read and usually generate great threads of posts.

Freeper gubamyster passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 59. His name was James Ryan Williams II. He was an accountant, and lived in Huntington Beach, CA. "Gub" was a regular on the Weekly Dose of the Trump Family Train, and was known for his wry sense of humor and his witty repartee. He was married with four children. He loved baseball, and we followed the exploits of his oldest son, who played for his college baseball team. At the link, there is a picture of Gub and video tribute. We noticed he was not posting sometime...
