Formula 1 racing has become the latest major American company to buckle to pressure from far-left activists and accept new diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) standards. The Formula One racing franchise has filed for trademarks indicating it could be seeking a race in Chicago, less than a year after NASCAR held its first street race in Grant Park. F1 applied for variations of the trademark “Formula 1 Chicago Grand Prix” and “Grand Prix Chicago” on Jan. 19, according to U.S. patent office records. Lewis Hamilton has called on Formula One and his fellow drivers to stay focused on the sport's anti-racism stance and present a less chaotic image before next Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix. The six-time world champion said after winning Sunday's Styrian Grand Prix that a number of drivers wanted to stop the pre-race anti-racism gestures and that he feels some teams are not doing enough to show solidarity with the movement.

Nico Rosberg has announced his retirement from Formula 1 with immediate effect following his World Championship victory in Abu Dhabi last weekend. Jules Bianchi has been laid to rest in his home town of Nice at an emotional ceremony at the Sainte Reparate Cathedral. Brazilian Formula One driver Felipe Massa was fighting for his life tonight following a crash during a qualifying session that knocked him unconscious. Massa was airlifted to hospital where surgeons operated on him to treat a fracture to his skull.
