Miami cops swarmed Bayside Marketplace on Monday night following a fight between several juveniles, police said. Around 8:26 p.m., a large group of people — some possibly armed with sticks — were involved in a fight and later refused to leave the area of 401 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami police said in an email. Dozens of units rushed to the scene, temporarily shutting down Biscayne Boulevard between Second and Fourth streets. “Some businesses were temporarily closed to allow us to clear the area,” police said. “The juveniles have now scattered and we have cleared most of the units.” SNIP

An 18-year-old Tallahassee resident charged with murder elicited gasps from a courtroom Friday during his bond hearing. Khalil Pugh, who was charged with felony murder, malice murder and vehicular homicide, flipped his middle fingers at the judge, according to WCTV, when his bond was revoked. Pugh allegedly crashed a silver sedan into a Thomasville, Georgia Walmart last Wednesday. According to a Thomasville Police Department report, the crash injured pedestrians at the retail store and killed Kenneth Kennedy, 66, of Monticello, Florida.

Two brothers, ages 14 and 11, were arrested after police said they broke into a Florida gun shop and stole 22 firearms and ammunition. The juveniles were taken into custody on Wednesday on numerous charges including 22 counts of grand theft of a firearm, one count of armed burglary, one count of criminal mischief, and one count of resisting without violence, the Cape Coral Police Department said at a news conference.
