Providence-AP) -- House Majority Leader Gordon Fox today told a crowd of 150 supporters of same-sex marriage that he is gay. The Providence Democrat said he's been in a committed relationship for six years and that he supports a bill that would allow same-sex marriages. It was the first time Fox has publicly announced he is gay. He said he hadn't planned to make the announcement today but felt the time was right.
