Gordon Fox Says He's Gay; Supports Gay Marriage (Rhode Island House Majority Leader)
WPRI/Fox 12 ^

Providence-AP) -- House Majority Leader Gordon Fox today told a crowd of 150 supporters of same-sex marriage that he is gay.

The Providence Democrat said he's been in a committed relationship for six years and that he supports a bill that would allow same-sex marriages.

It was the first time Fox has publicly announced he is gay. He said he hadn't planned to make the announcement today but felt the time was right.

The rally came before a House Judiciary Committee hearing on bills on both sides of the gay-marriage debate.

Supporters held poster boards with pictures of gay men and women eager to marry.

Miniature wedding cakes were delivered to each member of the House and Senate committees that will debate the bills this year.

Labels on the boxes read: Wedding Cake ... 500-dollars, Marriage

License ... 24-dollars, Civil Rights ... Priceless.

The House panel was also scheduled to hear a bill defining marriage as between a man and woman.

"House Majority Leader?"

How? I thought the Republicans had the majority now? Oh, unless you mean STATE house majority leader in R.I.

The California county (San Diego) I live in is larger than R.I. in both physical size and population ... lol!

Bet we have more homosexuals too ;)

Failing to see the future is responsible for the present.

Liberalism is a correctable process and the failure not to do so will surely make Rhode Islands future bleak.

FOX may not agree or be correctable but, his status as a representative of the state can be.

Well, the real question is, "Is he really gay?" Democrats will say ANYTHING to pander to their audience...and this audience clearly ate it up. Is he really gay, or just more pandering?

I agree the Liberals will sell their soul to the devil in order to further morally downgrade the US. But, if you are correct and, to parade ones self around as a queer imposter reaches a new low. I'm not so PC correct so Queer, Fudge Packer and Slit Licker still is in my Un-PC vocabulary.

The homosexual special rights crowd always finds ways to push their wares, and advance their causes to punish us with New Tolerance.

See how NBC gave Queer Eye and Boy Meets Boy glorified ratings while intentionally wanting to find a way to dump Savage.

Now this is just glorified promotions, just like here in SC where the student government president of a major university is both a homosexual and a member of the state homosexual special-rights advocacy group. He is pushing for special protections at every educational institution and, in theory, permit child molesters to work in child-care systems.

Ah yes! The good old Colleges that promote almost everything bad for America and almost nothing but, illiterate kids. For years the American public has sat back and left the left in this country take over the institutions of learning and I might add they still have control. We left them pump the young full of have hate, anti-GOD, pro-abortion and just plain civil disobedience. It's almost like the Muslim world has trained the liberal left. They do the same thing.

These kids are now coming into power.

Come on now.

I'm as much against the homosexual agenda as anyone else, and a review of my posts will back that up... but no one did in Savage except Savage himself. I was watching it live when he made his comments to a caller that got him canned, and frankly, I would've fired him too. He was over the top.

Not to mention, frankly, I never thought he was funny on TV. That bit where he sat between two mannequins and kept talking to them was rather pathetic. He should stick to radio.

No. The one I remember had to do with a lesbian legislator, possibly from New York. Or maybe it wasn't a legislator...

I saw the article's title and a brief description yesterday. I read the description, meant to go back to it, didn't, and the rest is history--couldn't find it with a search with "legislator," "new york," "lesbian" in the title. Maybe that "scripter" (?) freeper has it listed somewhere--I looked on that "homosexual agenda" list--the one I saw didn't have anything from '04 on it. I didn't catch the date of the article--though I'm positive I saw it yesterday. I thought the article described a lesbian legislator--from New York?--and it had to do with The Issue...and now I'm questioning my memory--perhaps it was Delaware...?
