I'm a bit of a slow reader, so I did not finish the book until last night. I must admit that this was not as enjoyable of a read for me as the previous books have been. The ending was a bit of a letdown, as was Harry's tendency to irrational anger. Maybe I've alredy forgotten what it's like to be a teenager.... Regardless, what have other Freepers thought of the book?

How many here are one-issue conservatives? This I bring up due to the possible SCOTUS retirements being tossed around the net and in the media. I've seen a lot of folks blow up over the abortion issue and I get the feeling there are a lot of one-issue conservatives among us who will rot in hell before letting a 98% conservative candidate go through if his only “non-conservative” issue is abortion. It seems that the US is getting bogged down in Iraq. The war is moving into the stage in which the US will continue to take casualties while we are trying to get the country running again. Will we ever be able to extrecate ourselves from Iraq?
