Most have a signature after their screen name in their posts. I can't figure out how to do this and I am not new to forum formats and basic computer skills, but I must admit that FreeRepublic is unique. Can someone please tell me how to do this... 3boysdad (signature line here) ?

I am in need of technical support. I am registered on my State Board, Florida, and have always received forum messages at the top of my Latest Articles page. Without having made any changes, I am no longer receiving Local/Florida messages anywhere. Is anyone else having this same problem or can someone assist me in figuring out why I'm not longer receiving these messages?

Sometimes when I use spell check, every word is highlighted as being incorrect. It just happened again, so I looked at the properties of the page, but I don't know what any of it means. Are there any technical people who could tell me what it says? Also, does this happen to any of you? Are you having any other strange problems?

Every now and then someone will post an article only for others to tell them it was already posted, and the OP swears they did a search and didn't find it. I have a concrete example of one way this is happening for me. There is an old article on Freerepublic called "VIOLENCE IN THE KORAN AND THE BIBLE (very long, but, worthwile)" Every now and then I email it to someone or otherwise want to access it. However, the only way I can find it is to search on google. A reknowned spammer just hit FR, he is probably from Senegal, and has been one of those "A rich uncle has to get $10 million out of senegal, if you give me $10k i can split the money with you" scammers. DO NOT give him your email address, he will sell it to dozens of email spambot networks. I hope this was self evident to the FR community, but would rather be seen as a bit pedantic than have FR be the vector for someone to lose their life savings from a African email scam.

I can get into FReep mail but when I click on the item, it does not open.

I was wondering if there is an easier way to post photos here. Every time I want to post one of my own photos, I have to upload to Photobucket and grab the HTML code. Is there a program or Firefox add on that can assign HTML code when the file is saved?
