Lawmakers in both parties fighting to force the Trump administration to release all the federal files on Jeffrey Epstein took a big step closer to their goal this week.
Adelita Grijalva’s victory on Tuesday in a special House election in southern Arizona sends another Democrat to Capitol Hill — and secures the deciding endorsement of the procedural tool forcing a House vote on legislation to compel the Justice Department to disclose the still-concealed documents related to the late child sex offender.
That procedural tool, known as a discharge petition, currently has 217 signatures. Grijalva is set to make it 218, meeting the threshold to force the underlying proposal to the floor even over the objections of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and other GOP leaders, who are siding with President Trump in opposition to the bill.

“””Thomas Massie and Khanna “””””
Massie is a loyal democrat.
So what are the commies and trannies planning to do with these alleged Epstein files that have been handled and added to and subtracted from by every commie pig in D.C.?
It’ll raise a few eyebrows im sure.
I don’t know how this will turn out, but I do wish GOP and Dems would quit protecting pedophiles.
“””It’ll raise a few eyebrows im sure.””
It will give the conspiracy kooks something to do for awhile.
I would like everything made public and let’s see what’s/what’s not there, with the confidentiality of victims (if they desire) to be maintained.
James O keefe got a former DOJ investigator on record about Epstein. His allegations are fire. BUT he may have just been preening for a hot chick
Alex Acosta admitted he did not view ANY victim statement when making his decision under the Bush Administration. I believe Patel said he also did not view them.
Because Acosta chose not to go after Epstein, the Court ruled that the victims rights Act was not triggered
Where the real meat of this will be at this juncture is those Treasury files
Prediction: If names of alleged are released, it will be impossible for them to have a fair trial and there will be no prosecutions.
The House is all in favor of releasing the Epstein files, until they must vote on the issue. Then they are always just a few votes short.
Do statute of limitations apply?
I’m not sure on the law..
We will see which way the wind is blowing when the vote happens
I think like 70% in polls say release the files.
Headache for the Deep State 😂
Yes, but there are exceptions to the rules for each type of case.
For example, if it is a money laundering case. Tax evasion. FINCEN violation. Etc. There are a number of avenues to look at.
I think there is no limitation on civil case for tax fraud
Tax evasion and money laundering are the areas the Senate Finance Committee was pursuing after the Dechert report on Leon Black.
There is CLEARLY an issue with the Banks involved. Staley is a known verifiable adjudicated issue which I think is why Massie named him.
I don’t see how any good can come of this.
That’s interesting i hadn’t considered that angle.
We might get some form of justice for victims along those lines even if the cases are deemed historical
Some rich and powerful people will get a bad press
If the press cover it that is.
Politically speaking I don’t think there’s a lot that will happen
I doubt it. I am sure there were many powerful dims, powerful dim donors, and A-list celebrities on the list, but those names were scrubbed (not any non-libs) a long time ago that is why they are pushing to release it now.
EX Doj investigator claimed during an undercover taping that Clinton raped girls on the plane
Now that his comments have blown up he is backpeddling
Glenn Prager.
The only way to be sure what is in Pandora’s box is to open the box.
Anything else is raw speculation.
