The poll sampled 15 percent, (47/32) more Democrats than Republicans; and this was a fair reflection of the 11th Congressional District of New York. But that didn’t help Democrat challenger Domenic Recchia one bit. The results were devastating for the Democrats’ dreams of connecting the dots and controlling every C.D. in New York City. By way of full disclosure it must be noted the Recchia is a classic Democrat, “Charlie McCarthy crash dummy” who will repeat anything he is told to say by Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi. Michael Grimm’s supporters have latched on to the Bill Maher issue as a reason to vote against Domenic Recchia, as though Maher is Recchia’s boss instead of just an irrelevant fool. But Grimm’s actual boss in Congress is far more meaningful — the man who contributed thousands to Grimm’s campaign, John Boehner.
