President Donald Trump signed an executive order late Tuesday night instructing the State Department to restrict visas to foreigners affiliated with Antifa and is calling on the Department of Justice to classify the anarchist organization as a domestic terrorist group. "Reliable reporting suggests that the movement known as Antifa is directly or indirectly responsible for some of the recent lawlessness in our communities, and has exploited tragedies to advance a radical, leftist, anarchist, and often violent agenda. In fact, Antifa has long used otherwise permissible demonstrations to engage in lawless, criminal behavior to further its radical agenda," the order states....

NPR's Morning Edition on Monday split its Andrew McCabe interview into two segments. On the home page they were promoting Russiagate: "Andrew McCabe, Ex-FBI Deputy, Describes 'Remarkable' Number Of Trump-Russia Contacts." On air, that segment never mentioned his lying under oath to the FBI. There was a second segment simply titled "Andrew McCabe Discusses His Firing." McCabe's answers were often refusals to answer, which Inskeep spun as "exceptionally careful." Kudos to NPR for trying to explore it, briefly.

For almost three years, bureaucrats from the Obama administration, including those at the FBI and Justice, have tried to take out candidate and then president Trump with no actual evidence. Robert Mueller knew that Michael Flynn didn't violate any laws by talking with a Russian after the election, knew that Comey tried to entrap Flynn, knew that FBI agents didn't think he lied but badgered and sought to destroy and bankrupt Flynn and his family until he caved to plead to perjury. Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have been briefed on the FBI investigation into Judge Brett Kavanaugh and have come to very different conclusions than Chairman Chuck Grassley. The Republican senator said the findings confirm that Kavanaugh's record is clean. However, "The most notable part of the report is what’s not in it," according to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). She sounded off with fellow Democrats on Capitol Hill Thursday after being briefed on the FBI report. The FBI did not interview Kavanaugh or his accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Feinstein noted. A federal judge in Virginia agreed Monday to grant immunity to five potential witnesses in Paul Manafort’s upcoming trial — but, in a blow to Special Counsel Robert Mueller, said their identities would be made public. Mueller’s team wanted the identities of their witnesses to remain confidential, saying in a filing last week that they haven’t been criminally charged and to avoid “undue harassment.” But Judge T.S. Ellis, a Ronald Reagan appointee, said they would be identified. He also ordered Mueller’s office to provide a list of about 30 witnesses to Manafort’s lawyers.
