NPR's Morning Edition on Monday split its Andrew McCabe interview into two segments. On the home page they were promoting Russiagate: "Andrew McCabe, Ex-FBI Deputy, Describes 'Remarkable' Number Of Trump-Russia Contacts." On air, that segment never mentioned his lying under oath to the FBI. There was a second segment simply titled "Andrew McCabe Discusses His Firing." McCabe's answers were often refusals to answer, which Inskeep spun as "exceptionally careful." Kudos to NPR for trying to explore it, briefly.

I can't wait to hear what Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have to say.
Magical swamp gas protects swamp creatures. Even the “floaters”. Disgusting! CW2 time yet?
There won't be a CW2. Listen to the news sometimes. It's a litany of everything that has the US in irreversible decline. Regions and towns will be on their own when it all comes tumblin' down. Some will do quite well, many not so much.
JMHO
I hear ya.
You shall never, ever, hear anything like a full revelation from either Ryan or McConnell. Some people, when they are bought, stay bought.
Until a higher bid comes in. And they would then never admit to having been bought in the first place.
All of the interviews being granted by McCabe are all about selling his book. His pension is gone and he knows it. All he has left to make up for that monetary loss is revenue from his book. If you want to punish him for what he tried to do to our country then DO NOT BUY HIS BOOK.
Remember when Clintoon first took office? After Watergate, Iran-Contra, and generally taking as many cheap potshots at the President as possible during the 12 years of Reagan/H.W. Bush, when Clintoon took office they couldn't help themselves and continued to be in attack mode against POTUS.
They covered Travelgate as a real story. They covered White Water as a real story.
But soon it dawned on them that Clintoon was one of them, one of the 'good guys,' and needed to be protected, not exposed.
So they turned around their reporting, and CNN became the Clintoon News Network. You could tell that it pained these reporters to ignore real stories like Vince Foster, and instead comment on Hillary's cookie recipe, but they swallowed their pride and protected the Clintoons.
Fast-forward to today's reporters, and they can smell stories in McCabe, Rosenstein, Mueller, Lisa Page/Peter Strzok, the Fusion GPS 'dossier,' etc., but just cannot bring themselves to do the reporting that would ultimately help OrangeManBad.
Ryan won't say anything, he's out of office and he won't lie and say it's not true. No upside.
McConnell, I'd guess he makes a calculation: do I let this hang and basically break with the President or do I find some way to reassure him? I can't publicly deny it because that would put it out there openly rather than just implied, plus nobody would believe me. So the only other choice is for not to be Trump's number one ally in congress, at least until this blows over. Which is better for my power? Then he'll do that.
My guess is that given Trump's current polling and his role in the past senate elections, breaking with him would not be the best thing for Mitch's power. So he'll suddenly show up wearing a MAGA hat, metaphorically speaking.
You assume they are actually reporters. They are PR people for the democrats and when they see those stories surface, their only concern is how to bury them quickly and, if possible, flip them to smear republicans. They certainly aren't sitting around wringing their hands about not being able to report them honestly.
"You know, I lived my life professionally and personally, privately under that - those incredibly lofty goals of fidelity, bravery and integrity.".....can't believe the EGO of these traitors!
“This morning he was making it pretty clear that Rosenstein, Paul Ryan, and McConnell knew about the shenanigans.”
Yup. And Rubio, Feinstein, Burr..
BTW, Rosenstein got demoted yesterday!!!
THAT WAS FAKE NEWS, He got his pension, just reduced based on years of service below a new point which would have upped it.

Wonder how he feels being married to a loser?
Hey, hey, hey, NPR would never ask a lib a tough question.
At the edges of Andrew McCabe’s demented mind is the growing fear than maybe, just maybe, he was caught up in a coup - and that he’s going to spend a long time in prison...
He was comfortable working behind the scene.
He never expect to be a public figure and he doesn't have the experience.
He's now a fish out of water.
He was what, a month from meeting the time in service or something. I’m sure it didn’t hurt the bottom line much.
They like progressive taxes, this is like a progressive pension.
