Feinstein: This Was an 'Incomplete Investigation'

Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have been briefed on the FBI investigation into Judge Brett Kavanaugh and have come to very different conclusions than Chairman Chuck Grassley. The Republican senator said the findings confirm that Kavanaugh's record is clean. However, "The most notable part of the report is what’s not in it," according to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). She sounded off with fellow Democrats on Capitol Hill Thursday after being briefed on the FBI report.

The FBI did not interview Kavanaugh or his accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Feinstein noted. That's not fair and a judiciary committee hearing "should not be a substitute" for an FBI interview.

Senators "lack the expertise" of FBI agents, Feinstein said. Furthermore, they were only given five minutes to interview the nominee.

The FBI investigation itself was "very limited" in scope - and that appeared to be the White House's fault.

The White House "blocked access to millions of documents from Kavanaugh’s record, Feinstein charged, as well as 90 percent of his emails. While Democrats agreed that the investigation should be somehwat limited, they did not say that the White House "should tie the FBI’s hands."

"Our fears have been realized," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said after being briefed on the FBI report. "I disagree with Grassley that there was no hint of misconduct."

Schumer called for the documents, with proper redaction, be made public.

"Why shouldn't all of America see the facts?" he asked.

He too accused the White House of a cover up. The directive from White House Counsel Donald McGahn to the FBI shows the administration "greatly constrained the investigation from the get go."

"Are we going to allow the Democrats to bully the Senate "into defeating a good man?" McConnell sounded off on the Senate floor after the Democrats' press conference."

Well it sure seems like they've managed to hang you up for weeks so, maybe.

You know what they say about FBI investigations: “Seven is too few, nine is too many.”

(obscure reference to Sleepless In Seattle).

I knew they would be trying to delay the vote. HAVE THE VOTE! Tomorrow!
It’s going to be fun. The radicals are going to really try to disturb the Constitutional process.

There will be two main anti-Kavanaugh tactics this week:

1) “the investigation needs more time! Other allegations must be included!”

2) “ANY suspicion is too much for the Supreme Court. We can’t have someone with a cloud over them on the bench”

Dishonorable, but predictable

I agree with Fienstein. The FBI needs to investigate her involvement of the Lawyers she got for Ford. While at it also look at her Chinese spy and the involvement of the Chinese as applied to her.

To Democrats, the investigation will never be complete until they get the result they want.

If for some pleasant reason, Kavanaugh DOES GET CONFIRMED, I expect the Soros-funded left to still manufacture “witnesses” (note the quotes) till Kingdom come long after this disgraceful incident is over.

All the better to cast doubts on his fitness to be Justice of the SCOTUS and by extension, all of his decisions.

Ford’s lawyer, Katz isn’t the only one who will play this, Avenatti will be the other and I won’t be surprised if Gloria Allred and her daughter comes into the picture later.

Let’s be wise to the game they play. ( You read it here first ).

...no hint of misconduct.”

Wait, no hint of misconduct in high school and college? Is he a space alien? All human beings do SOME misconduct at that age.

And that is, of course part of the farce of this whole thing. Basically, they are slamming Brett because he’s not Jesus.

Why don’t we use Senator Graham’s comment here (spoken in the last hour):

“Why don’t we dunk him in the water and see if he floats?!” @LindseyGrahamSC

Ford and Kavaugh both gave comprehensive public testimony to the US Senate last week. There is no evidence to be gather by talking to them yet again. This is just an obvious hyper partisan attempt to create a purposeless delay by the losing side in a vain effort to continue their despicable smearing of Judge Kavaugh.

Hey, DiFi, it might have helped if your tool Ford had come forth back in July when you had the letter. It might have helped if she had flown herself into testify early last week when she lied about "fear of flying".

But I guess you need the extra time to line up the rent-a-mob and false witnesses bankrolled by your buddy George Soros, eh? You wanted this to climax just before the mid-terms and you got your wish, right?

Now, deal with it.
