Your commute could get worse before it gets better along a stretch of Interstate 95 in Palm Beach County. Later this month, crews will begin adding express lanes from Glades Road in Boca Raton to Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. For realtor Ricky Hen, this is great news. "Traffic is awful to be honest with you," said Hen. The Florida Department of Transportation will add two tolled express lanes along that stretch of I-95 in southern Palm Beach County. "I think it's great idea," said Hen. "I think it will help a lot and add a lot and help a...

Josh Kalin drives between Delray Beach and Delaware a couple times a year to visit his son and he has to have a SunPass and an E-ZPass account to pay the tolls. "It's a pain in the neck," said the 80-year-old retired opthalmologist. There's no end in sight. Although Congress required that all state toll systems be compatible by October 2016, the deadline passed and no new target date has been set. "We are unaware of any federal action as a result of the missed [deadline]," said Chad Huff, with Florida Turnpike Enterprise. Florida's SunPass, Georgia's Peach Pass, and North...

I'm sorry, I can't tell if it's ok to excerpt any of it, but basically it's a video with an article about a whole selection of idiots, one a volunteer meter man who got angry and lashed out and a woman and her husband who caught it on video and want to sue (over what damages I cannot imagine).

Standing strapped to a boogie board as his children surfed the waves of the Pacific Ocean, Cocoa Beach Mayor Skip Beeler kept looking down at the cool California summer sand sifting between his toes. Something wasn't right. "I started thinking this was so clean, I haven't seen any cigarette butts," Beeler said. "Then I thought if it works there, it can work here." Beeler's efforts to emulate California's example by banning smoking on the beach in his popular seaside town and a recent suggestion by Delray Beach Mayor Jeff Perlman to separate smokers and non-smokers on that city's beach have...
