Sunday, March 15, 2009 My father recently passed away in Fort Worth. While going through his records in Richardson, where he lived, I found his voting card. I called the people at the city clerk's office to inform them that he had passed. They informed me that he couldn't have died, since he voted on Nov. 4. I asked how many years had he been voting on record, and they said without fail, he had voted for 10 consecutive years. I then informed them that he had been in a nursing home and with Alzheimer's for the past eight years....

It appears that Barack Obama has trained his minions well—very very well, in fact. Obama’s group ACORN is under scrutiny or indictment in at least 14 states for voter fraud, embezzlement and misuses of taxpayer funds. One of the states—Missouri—is the state in which the Obama campaign now has Missouri police, St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce using their offices to intimidate and threaten those who speak ill about Kandidate Obama. Note: There are also rumblings that Missouri police may use their color of authority to intimidate all non-Obama voters. The chance...

TRENTON, N.J. - A Princeton University computer science professor added new fuel Wednesday to claims that electronic voting machines used across much of the country are vulnerable to hacking that could alter vote totals or disable machines. In a paper posted on the university's Web site, Edward Felten and two graduate students described how they had tested a Diebold AccuVote-TS machine they obtained, found ways to quickly upload malicious programs and even developed a computer virus able to spread such programs between machines. The marketing director for the machine's maker — Diebold Inc.'s Diebold Election Systems of Allen, Texas —...

High turnout prompts a probe by secretary of state SAN DIEGO - A dead man sending off for a mail-in ballot for the March primary was just one of the clues that brought investigators from the Texas attorney general's office to Duval County. Assistant District Attorney Jon West had only been on the job for about three months when the voter fraud allegations started surfacing. The post office returned several rejected mail-in ballot applications to residents who said that they had not sent them. And in one case, a woman complained that her father could not have sent a mail-in...
  • Louisiana bill would let dead voters' absentee ballots stand

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - In a state infamous for political chicanery it has become a well-worn joke: Even the dead can vote in Louisiana. The new punchline: Soon, it may even be legal — at least in a few rare cases. A Louisiana law in effect at least since 1921 says if a person casts an absentee ballot, then dies before election day, the vote doesn't count. State Sen. Reggie Dupre says that isn't fair. "If someone casts a ballot, whether at the polls or absentee, their vote should count," he said Thursday. After all, he added, if someone has...
