Voter fraud is out there (Letter to the Editor)
Longview News Journal ^

Sunday, March 15, 2009

My father recently passed away in Fort Worth. While going through his records in Richardson, where he lived, I found his voting card. I called the people at the city clerk's office to inform them that he had passed. They informed me that he couldn't have died, since he voted on Nov. 4. I asked how many years had he been voting on record, and they said without fail, he had voted for 10 consecutive years. I then informed them that he had been in a nursing home and with Alzheimer's for the past eight years. Don't be so misled by Democratic rhetoric.

I saw this letter to the editor today and thought you all would find it interesting. I wonder how much this goes on in nursing homes. If you have family members in one, it may be worth checking on.

We saw many stories over the last election cycle about the antics of ACORN and other volunteers groups playing around in nursing homes. The Commie ‘RATS stole a lot of votes that way. A good one was the one about the two “elderly” people who got in a fight because the nursing home resident said she wanted to vote for McCain but the nursing home helper marked the ballot for the “messiah” with the Kenyan name. These nursing home voter fraud schemes are rampant in this country.

They need to find where that stuff was mailed for voting and then hold the people or institutions responsible for felonies.

There is a rich tradition of vote fraud in Washington state and reports similar to these were repeated many times during the aftermath of the Gubernatorial Theft of 2004.

Unfortunately, with foxes in charge of the electoral henhouse, and a public trained to believe that all blame deserves to go to Bush (even post facto) no reform will be done.

It’s part of the rat strategy to gather up nursing home votes. My wife’s Aunt, who died a few years ago in Brooklyn at the age of 92, is surely still voting Democrat.

No idea why the Republicans didn’t propose an over-haul of the election system after the 2004 election. Everyone should have to show a photo ID and an officials voter registration card.

It will never happen. We are and under control of communists America. Their leader King Obama and the entire RAT party are hard core left communists. And supported by the communists sympathizers the MSM and Hollywierd types, we are in heavy trouble.

My estranged husband died last year and when I voted in Nov I made SURE that he wasn’t “voting” from hell.

My father was in a VA Nursing Home in Amarillo, Texas. He was registered in my county to vote and had voted there by absentee every year since being confined to a wheel chair. When he entered the VA, they had him register to vote in the next county where the VA facility was. My Dad’s mind wasn’t totally gone, and he refused to sign the papers. He told them, I would deal with it. When I got to the VA and found out what had happened, I threw a fit. I asked them what right they had doing that and was told they were protecting my Dad’s right to vote. I told them he didn’t need their protection, that’s what I’m here for. My Dad was a life long Republican. He hated FDR and every Dem who came after him. Even if his mind was totally gone, he’d never vote for a Dem. I wonder how many of the men in that facility were registered to vote, and who exactly voted for them. Some were totally out of it. Did their families know that they had been registered to vote?
There has always been a Dem machine. Has anyone every heard of a Republican machine? Not me. We have to overwhelm them with votes just to make up for the fraud. Isn’t it about time we fought back? Do we have the will? Is anyone paying attention? Why do people believe that freedom is their God given right and that they will always have it, and never have to do anything to keep it. Maybe it’s because they never had to pay for it. My Dad always used to say, “Nothing worth having comes easily.” I guess you don’t value it unless you’ve had to work hard to get it, or pay the price for it.

Simple: make the ID and verifications for voting identical for those of buying a gun, or even the ID requirements for a concealed weapons permit (heck, Obama himself may not pass that one what with it, in my state, requiring either a certified birth certificate or a US passport). While they're at it, scan for felony records.

If they are both constitutional rights then why not require the same documentation? After all, a maniac with a gun may shoot some people, but votes stolen could destroy the country.

Unless this problem is dealt with, you can kiss fair and open elections goodbye.

This past election really opened my eyes wide. Voting in this country has become a sick joke.

Makes perfect sense to me. I think every state should adopt a ballot measure for exactly that!

What is even better in some cases is like a nieghboring precinct of mine, the guy I know who is the perrenial Election judge has his polls IN a nursing home...

How convienient...

But its on the up and up there, we all still ask for a photo ID anyway when we run the show...

Now if a democrat wins the govenorship, that will change...

Too late...

I think photo ID would help, but we should also adopt the Iraq thumbprint in ink strategy. Then everyone could see that someone had already voted once that day.

I’m frustrated that Texas punted on this issue and will still allow forms of ID that any illegal, dead or criminal person to vote.

Voting in this country is officially a joke.
