The incident occurred at around 4:50 a.m. near the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Joshua Road in Whitemarsh township, according to 6ABC, NBC10 and the Philadelphia Inquirer. An Amtrak passenger train collided with a freight train in South Carolina early Sunday morning, causing injuries, the national passenger railroad service said. Amtrak said in a statement, "Amtrak Train 91, operating between New York and Miami, came in contact with a CSX freight train at around 2:35 am in Cayce, South Carolina." COLUMBIA, SC CSX has upped the reward it is offering for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the August 5th train accident in Lugoff.
