HENRICO, Va. (WWBT/Gray News) - A registered nurse in Virginia was arrested after several NICU babies were found with mysterious injuries and bone fractures, according to authorities. Erin Elizabeth Ann Strotman, 26, has been charged with malicious wounding, child abuse and neglect. Around the end of November 2024, staff members discovered that three babies at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital NICU had unexplainable fractures, similar to an incident involving four babies in the summer of 2023, the hospital said in a post on their website.
