Former FBI agent Coleen Rowley, who landed on the cover of Time magazine after her critique of the nation's pre 9/11 security lapses, announced Wednesday that she will seek the DFL nomination to run against two-term incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. John Kline in Minnesota's 2nd District. Washington -- Twenty-two gay and lesbian rights groups, smarting in the aftermath of the November election and bracing for President Bush's second inaugural, issued a unity statement Wednesday insisting they are not backing off marriage equality but will simultaneously push for other "common priorities." These include hate crimes legislation, employment protection, immigration rights for gays and lesbian partners, overturning the ban on gays in the military and continuing battle against constitutional bans on same-sex marriage in states and Congress.

I am working the Polls for the BUSH Team on Tues. for 13 hours. I have agreed to do this in hopes to sway someone/anyone in Bush's favor. We are short some workers because a lot of people (Liberals no doubt) volunteered for the Bush team, but now don't return calls. 1. Do we make a difference? 2. Do you think there will be trouble? 3. Other than the regular stuff to hand out, what would be some good ideas for my table? Candy for kids? Other? 4. Should I use any anti-Kerry stuff?
