First, it was a series of e-mails that led many to begin doubting the veracity of climate scientists. The Climategate scandal involving scientists-gone-bad who cooked the books to make a case for the now-discredited 'man-is-to-blame-for-global-warming' theory continues to get deeper and more scandalous. The Chair of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) refuses to apologize for publicizing and propagating false information. As previously reported, IPCC Chair Rajendra Pachauri (AP Photo) was informed back in November of last year that his pronouncement that the Himalayan glaciers would be completely melted by the year 2035 was false. Yet Pachauri sat on the information without making a correction for two full months.

The UN’s team on climate change, the IPCC, has had a rather bad few months.  First came the uncovered e-mails from the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, a key research organization for the IPCC,  that showed deception and professional character assassination by so-called scientists attempting to block data and analyses that contradicted the CRU conclusions on anthropogenic global warming (AGW).  Next, a scandal hit closer to home when the IPCC’s reliance on a theory of dissipating Himalyan glaciers turned out to be unscientific speculation — that the IPCC badly misquoted anyway.  Now the Telegraph’s James Delingpole reports that...

Good old-fashioned honest journalism by Pittsburghlive.com pointedly embarrasses Penn State and their pernicious professor, Michael Mann. Their editorial reviewing the “Climategate Analysis,” by British physicist, Dr. John P. Costella and now available from the non-profit Science & Public Policy Institute (scienceandpublicpolicy.org), has really caught the attention of Pennsylvanian readers.
