Former Navy SEAL and "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle was fatally shot along with another man Saturday on a Texas gun range, a sheriff told local newspapers. Erath County Sheriff Tommy Bryant said Kyle, 38, and a second man were found dead at Rough Creek Lodge's shooting range west of Glen Rose, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Stephenville Empire-Tribune. Police say Eddie Ray Routh, the 25-year-old suspect in the murder of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield, was tasered after becoming aggressive with jailers around dinnertime Sunday. After eating dinner, Routh refused to return his food tray to jailers. He became aggressive and tried to attack them when they tried to get it back from him, said Erath County Sheriff Tommy Bryant. Jailers tasered Routh and placed him in a restraining chair in his solitary cell. He is on suicide watch, Bryant said. Former SEAL sniper Chris Kyle is being laid to rest in the Texas State Cemetery in Austin today. His funeral procession moved slowly south from the Dallas area, where Kyle’s funeral was held at Cowboys Stadium Monday, along I-35 to the state’s capital.
