NATIONAL CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE DAY On February 10, National Cream Cheese Brownie Day shines a spotlight on an irresistible dessert bar. Combining chocolate and cream cheese has long been a favorite in the bakery. When it’s added to a brownie recipe the results are spectacular. #CreamCheeseBrownieDay The brownie has been around since the 1800s but was first documented in 1906 in the cookbook The Boston Cooking School Cook Book. There are hundreds of cream cheese brownie recipes. However, we also enjoy them cut up into parfaits or mixed into ice cream. Add a dollop of whipped cream, berries or a...

A newborn super cow at a farm in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Northwest A&F University Scientists from China’s Northwest A&F University, located just outside Xi’an, told local media that they successfully cloned three “super cows” capable of producing 50 per cent more milk than the average Canadian Holstein dairy cow. The researchers took tissue samples from Holstein cows that produced high volumes of milk and used the “somatic cell nuclear transfer method” to clone them, according to the Global Times. This method of using body cells to create an embryo that is then placed into a surrogate...

To note that the latest Disney/Marvel Studios woke Phase Four installment, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is a waste of time, is an insult to wastes of time. This tiresome flick aspires to be a waste of time. Disney/Marvel had a decision to make when the actor who originally played the Black Panther — the likable but mediocre Chadwick Boseman — died in real life: Either drop the BP franchise entirely, or bull ahead with a politically-correct sequel, composed of forgettable secondary characters from the first film. Guess which way they went. There’s a lot of furious fighting between black- and...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced he was demoting Reps. Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff from the powerful House Intelligence Committee to join Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the lesser-known House Party Planning Committee. Their main focus will be planning birthday parties and seasonal potluck celebrations for the upcoming Congressional term. "This is a very prestigious committee assignment," McCarthy said while trying to suppress a snicker. "Representative George Santos has a birthday coming up, and I've tasked these three with planning a little get-together in the Congressional breakroom." Sources say that despite their bruised egos, the trio got right to...

When Hitler was running out of resources, because he outspent Germany's future, his action was to attack Poland. So it makes me wonder if the reason for the war is that West has outspent its future and it wants the wealth of Russia to try and keep going. Ukraine has an estimated $13 trillion in mineral wealth. Russia probably has hundreds of trillions in mineral stored in the lands that it isn't making use of, for whatever reason it has chosen to not take advantage of.

About three weeks ago we had a discussion here about an F-35B stealth fighter that had a mishap on landing at Fort Worth Naval Air Station. It was being flown by a USMC pilot but he was performing pre-delivery evaluation flights for Lockheed Martin. Now the military has halted deliveries on F-35B engines pending further investigation (which is a pretty good indication the pilot was exonerated). The source article is at Defense News -dot- Com (under heading "Air Warfare"), which I apparently am forbidden to post from. So look it up if you're a mind to. It was at the...

Cheese is rich and creamy, and it’s irresistible on a cracker, paired with a selection of fresh fruit, or sprinkled over a bowl of chili. There are many delicious reasons to love cheese, and Americans really do love it. The per capita consumption is 40 pounds a year, or a little over 1.5 ounces a day. As much as we love cheese, though, we’re a little afraid of it. When people talk about their fondness for cheese, it’s often in a guilty, confessional way, like “Cheese is my weakness.” But “cheese is packed with nutrients like protein, calcium, and phosphorus,...

Space Clowns Invade Our Cupboards Introduction It's official: Space Clowns are here to stay. The latest in a long line of cupboard invasions was reported by Jack Barclay and his family. "We did not see them coming," he said. "One moment, I was putting dishes away, and the next, I was surrounded by Space Clowns." His wife Vanessa said it was a harrowing experience for her as well. She said that the family's cat startled her when she opened the cupboard door and screamed. "My poor ears," she said. "I think they are still ringing." Jack said that the family...

NATIONAL MOUSSE DAY On November 30th, National Mousse Day serves up a delicious treat that can be savory or sweet. #NationalMousseDay What can we say about mousse? The word “mousse” in French means “foam.” Typically, we whip egg whites or cream to make a mousse. Depending on the type of mousse, its consistency can vary from light and airy to thick and creamy. This versatile dish lends itself well to both desserts and savory recipes. In fact, several types of mousse can be served at the same meal. From a smokey salmon mousse as the first course to a tart...

U.S. — President Biden's congratulatory call to John Fetterman for his senate race win reportedly lasted in excess of three hours because neither man was able to form a coherent sentence. White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain was forced to adjust Biden's schedule as the call dragged on and on. Meetings on the economy, foreign policy, and immigration were canceled entirely. Fortunately, Biden was still able to keep his standing tea time with Kamala. "They just sort of growled at each other after a while. It was very raw and animalistic, as you'd expect from great leaders," Klain...

Donald Trump is my favorite President, even more so than Ronald Reagan. However, I think I’m moving on from him. I like him in the role of a clarion-calling standard bearer, and his presidency was the best I have ever seen. I don’t like him in terms of his failure to be a team player. I’m not even sure I like him as a kingmaker. Calling out numbers to make him look good, in a severely-disappointing election shows me he doesn’t care about the boots on the ground, but only how he looks. Reagan faced the same Establishment hate and...

(AP) Philidelphia -- In a show of tremendous graciousness, Jon Fetterman called Mehet Oz and congratulated Oz on his Senate win. "I'm glad I to beat you, so I race to congratulate you on my win. I surrender. Good luck on Senate, Mr. Oz. Can't wait to go run." Fetterman is quoted as saying. Analysts were confused that, since Fetterman won, why he would concede the race to Oz. Fetterman's handlers were trying to explain to him, albiet unsuccessfully, that winning a race means you actually take the political position. Fetterman responded by attempted to call Oz and conceding again....

Whether it's rising crime or rising costs, we need leaders who actually understand the problems we’re going through here in Pennsylvania, and who have the experience and the ideas to do something about it. I know we need to tackle crime because I live in a community with a serious crime issue. I know that costs are too high because I see it with my own eyes when I’m at Costco. I get these issues because I’ve lived these issues.

The billionaire’s plans, which were reported in The Washington Post last week, would account for 5,500 of the 7,500-strong workforce. Mr Musk previously described Twitter’s workforce as bloated, saying it had a “strong, left-wing bias”. Before the deadline to agree on a deal on Friday, October 28 , TIME reports that it has seen a draft of an open letter that Twitter employees plan to circulate. The employees demand that Mr Musk commits to preserving the company’s existing workforce. They argue that he should not discriminate against employees based on their political beliefs. There are also demands that the potential...

Embalmer Richard Hirschman says, “something has changed with peoples’ blood” in the last two years. In an interview with UncoverDC contributor Daniel Bobinski on his Keep the Republic broadcast, Hirschman explained he not only began to see an increase in deaths by the fall of 2020 but also saw an “increase in clotting” during his embalming. Strangely, he also observed that even though the virus itself was less prevalent, the deaths remained high. Hirshman has been an embalmer and funeral director for 21 years. According to Hirschman, in January 2021, the shots became more prevalent in his area. Even though...

October Drag Story Hour has returned to Ithaca for the 2022 Fall season. Parents could bring their kids to Buffalo Street Books Sunday morning for a glamorous storytime experience. Miss Coraline Chardonnay and Miss Tilia Cordata have been doing Drag Story Hour for the last four years. Starting in the Fall of 2018, they read children's books to parents and kids throughout the Ithaca community and even held story time virtually during COVID. People were invited to come dressed in the costume of their choice. On Sunday, many did just that, kicking off the 2022 fall season's story hours. “We...
