The 32-members of NATO on Wednesday formally declared Ukraine on an “irreversible” path to membership in the Western military alliance, offering a bare but more binding assurance of protection once its war with Russia ends.
NATO member countries individually and in Wednesday’s joint statement from their summit in Washington announced a series of steps aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s defenses. That includes the U.S., the Netherlands and Denmark announcing that the first NATO-provided F-16s would be in the hands of Ukrainian military pilots by this summer.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted his appreciation of the effort to strengthen his air force, coming soon after Ukraine saw one of the deadliest strikes of the war.

The Ukrainians will be getting their F 16s just about the time they lose the war
The F16s are pretty much worn out and at the end of their life so the primary feature of these planes was that they were pretty much expendable assets in the war.
The countries that contributed them got the deal of the century - they give their soon to be cut up and scrapped F16s to the Ukraine and the Biden Administration subsidizes their purchase of replacement Lockheed F -35s with American taxpayer funds.
These planes have no future beyond being a pretext for the Biden Administration to loot and deplete our stockpiles aircraft weaponry the same way they have looted our anti tank Javelins and TOWs, our Stinger MANPADs anti aircraft missiles, our Patriot missile batteries , our M1 tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles and ammo, our howitzer tubes and shells, our ATACMS and god knows what else we sending .

Maybe because Finland broke from Russia in 1917. And had no significant ties to Russia. Unlike Ukraine which broke away in 1991.
Google tells us this......Russia has deep cultural, economic, and political bonds with Ukraine, and in many ways Ukraine is central to Russia’s identity and vision for itself in the world. Family ties. Russia and Ukraine have strong familial bonds that go back centuries.
Russia invaded Ukraine because Russia wanted Ukraine.
The other times NATO countries and alliances of NATO countries attacked Russia they attacked the same way they are attacking Russia today, through Ukraine. You might want to actually think about the totally different threats posed by the greatest offensive military behemoth in history sitting on Russia’s border with Ukraine, a days tank ride from Moscow and the same force sitting on the Russo/ Finnish border. If you could look at this war and why it started more strategically rather than emotionally you’d be better prepared to understand what’s going on.
NATO won’t win a nuclear war; cockroaches, rats and mice will inherit the earth and nibble on carcasses of extinct humans.

The F-16’s give the Ukies access to a HUGE inventory of US air launched standoff weapons. We scrap more in a year than the Ukies could use in 3 or 4 years - unless of course the Ukies get vastly greater numbers of F-16’s. However, it would likely make more sense for the next step to be a couple squadrons of Gripens. THAT would give Pooty a real headache.
In any event, Russia isn’t going to win IF Ukraine gets even 1/2 of the projected drone deliveries.
Such hubris.
Ukraine will NEVER, EVER GET UNANIMOUS CONSENT.
They won’t even get 2/3 of the US Senate.
And everyone knows it, including Russia.
No, it started because entitled, globalist neocons thought their destiny was to get rid of Russia as easily as they did the Soviet Union, "because they could," (meaning, they'd gamed it all out and believed they could suck the resources out of the NATO militaries and citizenry, and were willing to sacrifice 7Billion+ lives while they would take cover in their 5-star, underground bunkers.
At worst it would mean they would have to share the world--for a time--with the CCP.
