Mexican lawmakers were filmed shoving each other and pulling hair on the floor of Congress in Mexico City on Monday. The viral video shows women lawmakers of rival parties jostling for position at a podium in the front of the chamber. The women's argument escalates from shouts to pushing and ultimately to pulling each other's hair as other lawmakers try to intervene. The scene took place during debate over reforms to Mexico City's transparency oversight agency. Members of the right-leaning National Action Party (PAN) were protesting conduct by the left-leaning Moreno Party, which is the controlling power. PAN representatives were...

Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez Jr., on Monday, evaded questions on the Brown University shooter and declined to say what witnesses claim the shooter yelled before opening fire at the university. If the shooter were a White male, we would likely know everything about him. Rhode Island Officials held a press conference on Monday to provide updates on the Saturday shooting and ongoing investigation as the manhunt for the shooter remains underway. Witnesses say the shooter “yelled something” before killing two students and wounding nine more, and early reports suggest the shooter shouted “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire. But Perez...

President Trump on Monday signed an executive order designating fentanyl as a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD). Last month, it was reported by the Wall Street Journal that the Trump Administration classified fentanyl as a “potential chemical weapons threat” being smuggled on Venezuelan drug boats to justify strikes in the Caribbean and Western Pacific. Now, with Trump’s new classification of the deadly poison as a WMD, this will likely be used to justify the defense of America against drug cartels further. “The manufacture and distribution of fentanyl, primarily performed by organized criminal networks, threatens our national security and fuels lawlessness...

A KLM plane of passengers bound for the Caribbean didn’t have a choice of their in-flight entertainment when they had to be grounded after a massive rat stowed aboard, as seen in a spine-tingling video taking off online. “[It’s] very unfortunate for the passengers who had to experience this,” a KLM representative told Dutch rag RTL News. The Airbus A330 was slated to fly from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to Aruba before continuing on to Bonaire on December 10. This flight plan crashed and burned after an unexpected stowaway was spotted scurrying about the cabin, Aviation24 reported. In the revolting...

On December 12, coinciding with International Mountain Day, 69 municipalities in the Valencian Community joined a nationwide initiative to create mobile-free spaces aimed at offering young people and teenagers stays in natural environments without mobile phones. The project, Refugios Bien de Altura: spaces without coverage, is promoted by the Spanish Association of Mountain Municipalities (EsMontañas) and funded by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (Miteco). It transforms municipal hostels and rural accommodation in 284 mountain villages across Spain into areas of voluntary digital disconnection. Everyone loves a good party, even when they're behind bars. One shindig at a South Carolina prison was ruined, however, when authorities intercepted a drone carrying items needed for a heck of a crab boil. A photo from the Bishopville prison showed a raw steak still in the grocery store packing, crab legs and Old Bay with side plastic baggies of marijuana and a couple of cartons of cigarettes. The drone was also seized Sunday morning, authorities said. All in Piggly Wiggly bags, so you know it's high quality.

MELBOURNE — To stem the growing tide of violence against Jewish citizens, the Australian government has moved to officially ban the celebration of Hanukkah. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made the announcement in the wake of Islamic attacks on a public Hanukkah celebration, which Albanese believes prompted the killings. "If Jews were not celebrating Hanukkah, this tragedy could have been prevented," said Albanese. "Some people don't want to blame Hanukkah, but let me ask you: did people get shot anywhere else except at the Hanukkah celebration? No. This is all because of Hanukkah. How many lives do we have to lose...

A DoorDash worker who was caught on a doorbell cam spraying a mystery substance on a delivery order bizarrely claimed she was only aiming at a spider. Kourtney Stevenson is seen on the Dec. 7 footage delivering Arby’s to the doorstep of an Indiana home, taking a confirmation picture — then calmly spraying an aerosol substance onto the bag. After identifying her, authorities in Indiana charged the driver with two counts of battery resulting in moderate injury and two counts of consumer package tampering. Stevenson was arrested in Kentucky and will be extradited to Indiana.

There are so many advantages to being an old man that I wonder why I put it off for so long . One is that the Proust Reading Group has stopped inviting me to join and another is the number of dreadful stories in the news that for a man my age come under the heading "Not My Problem" such as the shortage of goods due to shipping backlogs, freighters lined up for miles waiting to unload in ports, people unable to find what they need. I have the opposite problem: too much stuff, need a ship to come up...

@RepThomasMassie Last night I received a disclosure from a new FBI whistleblower regarding the J6 pipe bomb case. This is the third disclosure I’ve received from current and former employees of the government regarding the pipe bomb case in recent weeks. These brave moral people could lose their jobs and wreck their careers, but they care deeply for our country. So at the risk of editorializing, I will summarize what I learned from this newest disclosure in order not to disclose the identity of this whistleblower. The community where the suspect was arrested is populated with several employees of the...

Ella Cook, a 19-year-old sophomore from Birmingham, Alabama, was a student at Brown University, tragically killed in the December 13, 2025, campus shooting. An active parishioner at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, she was remembered as a grounded, faithful, and bright light in her community. She served as Vice President of the Brown University Republican Club and was described by peers as a staunch conservative unafraid to express her views on a liberal campus. Prior experience included work at Oxbridge Academic Programs and Mountain Brook Creamery

The massive $1 billion (and growing) Minnesota welfare fraud by Somali refugees and the accompanying tired accusations of racism used to silence whistleblowers led me to think of my Greek immigrant family in Chicago. We’re not welfare cheaters hiding behind accusations of racism. Family ties were critically important and our clans, but not at the expense of the love we bore America. The City Journal broke the Minnesota fraud story wide open about the ties to terrorist groups, after Minnesota leftists like the fool Gov. Tim Walz suppressed reasonable inquiry. Minnesota conservatives screamed for years begging the media pay some...
