After last week, I’m really GLAAD to have this opportunity to change the subject. And that opportunity was presented by what I guess are the monthly GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards, this time in Los Angeles. Sort of ironic that they were held the same week as the latest Islamic Extremist (am I allowed to say that anymore?) bombing; as we all know how tolerant the “religion of pieces” is of homosexuality. Anyway, guess who was there? To accept an award. Did you guess former President Bill Clinton? “I’m so glaad to be here!” Me neither....

Excerpt - LITTLE ROCK — Susan McDougal of Camden, a friend and former business partner of President Clinton’s who became well-known in the late 1990s for refusing to cooperate with a special Whitewater prosecutor, on Tuesday sought to have her federal grand jury testimony unsealed. “There’s going to be a movie produced about Susan’s role in this [the Whitewater investigation], and there’s some information in her grand jury testimony that’s relevant to that, and Susan and I think the public ought to have aright to know about it,” said her attorney, Bobby McDaniel of Jonesboro. McDaniel said the testimony, as...

Actors Richard Gere and Charlize Theron joined in on a bash, but this time it had nothing to do with a party; instead it had to do with bashing the President of the United States and the war in Iraq. While at the Venice Film Festival, both actors openly criticized the Bush administration. "How did we elect Bush twice?" Gere asked rhetorically while promoting his new film, "The Hunting Party." In the film, Gere plays a reporter determined to track down Radovan Karadizic, who has been hiding for more than a decade and is charged with genocide and crimes against...

Charlize Theron's Cuba By Humberto Fontova FrontPageMagazine.com | February 22, 2007 A Hollywood A-lister (Charlize Theron) recently traveled to Cuba and returned without the paeans to its Stalinist regime that habitually issue from her colleagues after such visits. Pigs worldwide started sprouting wings. During her Cuban visit Ms Theron helped produce a documentary (East of Havana) on Cuban hip-hop artists that cast the Castro regime in a negative light. Pigs worldwide started flapping and taxiing down the runway. Last week on ABC's Good Morning America, Charlize Theron said : "I think the (Cuban) younger generation is starting to say, 'You...
