HEREFORD — On Sunday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m, Friends of the Huachuca Mountains will introduce a little-known Spanish outpost along the San Pedro River. Perrie Barnes will present information about Presidio de Terrenate de Santa Cruz, a Spanish fort established in 1775 and abandoned in 1780, high on the bluffs above the San Pedro River.
