I didn’t agree with much but respected him. He had real courage and determination. I felt bad for him at Obama’s inauguration where you could see Jackson in the crowd, not on stage with the prominence he should have had. He was an important part of US history, RIP.

I believe the CPI is showing signs of deflation...month from month decline was precipitous-2.7% to 2.4%. It’s coming down pretty fast. They should cut rates... forget the increase in employment, that is not inflationary and is in large part due to economic policies and new investment.

He is the Archbishop over the US military evidently. So, he advises Catholic military personnel. I think he is probably spot on on the single dimensional plane but he does not consider the broader issue regarding what he has said. He has done damage to the Catholic military individuals and to our country.

Do you have any idea how small that population of Bishops is compared to the total...replace Catholic with any Protestant denomination and you’ll find they are several times higher. However, keep perspective...there is nothing satan likes more that to influence priests, then Protestant ministers. They carry a big load of risk.

I have never heard of this Archbishop before, but he does not have any jurisdiction over China...
