WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump shifted toward a more conciliatory approach with Democratic leaders in Minnesota on Monday, a sudden change in tack following an outcry over the second fatal shooting by federal agents in the state this month during the administration's nationwide crackdown on undocumented immigrants.
The about-face comes after Saturday’s shooting death of Alex Pretti by federal agents raised doubts — including from some Republicans — over how the Trump administration has gone about aggressively deporting migrants and confronting protesters opposed to the policy.

Minnesota law enforcement has decided to start helping, which created the whole issue to begin with. Trump isn’t backing down, Minnesota did.
All claptrap, narrative writing and nothing more.
The real story is the police are actually now doing their job and even arrested and charged rioters.
Of course, the LSM will never give up the con.
Congress is working on legislation to stop this sanctuary crap. This isn’t the wild west...and cities and states ain’t churches.
Jesse Kelly gonna lose it if PT retreats.
And the National Guard is passing out coffee and donuts. Hope they put a sedative in the coffee. Ridiculous use of our resources.
Sending Tom Homan doesn’t feel like Trump is softening.
But if Trump is taking a small step back, perhaps that will be tied to coming revelations about how Walz and his Lt Governor have been pushing people to riot and commit violence. Somebody seems to want chaos. And it’s not Trump.
“ Seeing this stuff all over.”

AP? Of course, that’s what they and the rest of the mainstream media do…. advance the decreed narrative of the day.
I don’t trust anything coming from the AP (Absolute Propaganda).
The Enemedia spews the Demonicrat talking points.
AP. Never give up the con.
> Congress is working on legislation to stop this sanctuary crap. <
Which will, unfortunately, go nowhere.
A few weak Republicans in the Senate will vote with Democrats to stop it. And therein lies the problem. Every Democrat is a bulldog. But not every Republican.
From one perspective, Trump takes a maximalist position as a negotiating stance, but always settles for what he wanted in the first place.
From another perspective, “Trump Always Chickens Out”. But always seems to settle for what he wanted in the first place. If you work for the AP, you ignore the second part.
AP (Awful Propaganda) continues it’s ways...distorting and obfuscating reality. What’s new?
Unfortunately, many drink their spew as reality.
Indeed, we know that President Trump and criminal Walz conversed and ‘made a deal.’ Albeit being temporary, a consolation not to send in the US Military to quell a disturbance like so many Presidents have. Bet the time span is rather short though. Also Trump has spilled the beans on the MN corruption and has offered Walz a pardon to avoid prosecution and prison, one can guess. We’ll know what shortly.

Yahoo lies again.
Without my take as well so far. I saw a video clip of last night or early this morning with a large group of Minnesota State police moved in, in full riot gear, and arrested a bunch of people. In the past, this was practically unheard of even when things were much more violent than they were last night. It makes perfect sense, let the local police force handle crowd control, and things like that while the federal officers get the illegals.
The democrat spin machine in motion.
Bovino isn’t the best at comms. That’s what a PAO is for.
He’s an on-the-ground ‘git er done guy. Noem should have let him focus solely on that.
Feel bad for him as it looks like a demotion back to El Centro, which it isn’t.
Now Homan is the in-charge guy in Minneapolis and Noem is pushed to the side.
But Minneapolis isn’t just enforcement options. It’s also about messaging and optics. Both of those are areas where President Trump takes enhanced interest.
