A growing number of Republican senators are calling for an investigation into the killing of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis as many Trump administration officials defend federal officers’ actions.
Sens. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Mike Crapo of Idaho, John Curtis of Utah, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Thom Tillis of North Carolina have all said there needs to be a thorough probe into Saturday's fatal shooting of Pretti, a U.S. citizen, by Border Patrol.
Administration officials overseeing immigration enforcement may soon face public scrutiny from Republicans and Democrats alike.
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, on Monday called on the heads of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to testify before his panel at an oversight hearing next month.
Paul sent letters to Todd Lyons of ICE, Rodney Scott of CBP and Joseph Edlow of USCIS requesting their testimony on Feb. 12. All three agencies are part of the Department of Homeland Security, led by Kristi Noem.

Yes investigate so we can find out who in ICE Watch was his handler, and told him to come armed.

Why are people calling for an investigation? There will be a thorough investigation anyway. I believe there is a law that any use of force by and federal law enforcement get a special kind of investigation.
But why did Trump just say we can’t have guns
There is an investigation into any federal law enforcement shooting. No?
Maybe these people can be thoroughly investigated as to there true political affiliation
They talk and talk for headlines.
Have they called for an investigation into Walz and his association with theft of federal funds in the day care fraud
Or his association with urging on these rioters?

I believe that is true for all law enforcement when they just discharge their weapon. It doesn’t require a death to invoke an investigation.
