At least two gunmen have opened fire at a training ground for soldiers in western Russia, according to local news channels. During the Democratic primaries, pollsters were sure that Hillary Clinton would win in Michigan. The Real Clear Politics average of poll results had Clinton crushing Bernie Sanders by 21 points — 58% to 37%. The FiveThirtyEight blog gave Sanders less than a 1% chance of winning. Final tally: Sanders 50%, Clinton 48%.

WASHINGTON - The nation's unemployment rate dipped to 4.5 percent in February even as big losses of construction and factory jobs restrained overall payroll growth. Wages grew briskly. The latest snapshot, released by the Labor Department on Friday, offered a somewhat mixed picture of the employment climate. The slight decline in the politically prominent jobless rate, from 4.6 percent in January, came as hundreds of thousand of people left the work force for various reasons.

Can we get any "expert" insight into absentee ballot counting? Unlike previous elections, absentee ballots were requested and submitted in HUGH numbers this election in almost every state. Which states have already included them, and which haven't? As tight as many of these races are, this is not an insignificant factor.
