Michael Yon is traveling along the Mexican border with Josh Phillips of Epoch Times. He asked Josh why Xi of China has warned Chinese citizens to start storing food. Josh’s response is fascinating. I’d post the video but I’m not sure how.

Chinese agricultural depends upon Natural Gas fertilizer plants. The shortage means a bad harvest next season and disaster the next one.
China announced 2 weeks ago they are no longer exporting any fertilizer.

I have been stocking up on canned food and such in the last 3 weeks.
Ordered about 2k worth from walmart as they deliver free.
Got 3 boxes of 48 packs of ramen...you can whip up many quick meals with ramen, rice, canned chicken, spices..etc
They had 12.5oz cans of chicken breast for 1.66ea
And 14oz cans of sausage gravy! With some flour you can have bachelor bread topped with sausage gravy in a hurry.
Got lots of large cans of sweet potatoes, is this a great country or what!

China has never been able to raise enoght food to feed its own people. Add crop failures, flooding, energy shortages, covid, and dumb political decisions and that’s China 2021.
