Hi All: I am not the type of person to post much about my personal life…except with one exception… that is when it concerns decisions regarding my health and the health of family and/or friends. I am a HUGE proponent of prayer… I have seen it move mountains when it looked as if there was no path for deliverance… As such, here goes a request concerning the continuing saga of my right eye…. I will likely need surgery to correct the vision in my right eye (vitrectomy & ERM peel) to address a macular pucker (scar tissue on the retina)...

Just diagnosed... I have 20/40 or 20/50 in the eye... They are advising a Vitrectomy with Membranectomy... and som laser on perimeter lattice to avoid retina tear in the future... If anyone has had this done, please let me know your thoughts... Prayers for discernment welcomed as well...

Will likely be facing vaccine mandate. Does anyone have thoughts on taking Ivermectin to offset side-affects of the vaccine?

Just found out a friend and family are in dire need of prayer. One of the spouses, Ursula, has been diagnosed with cancer.... they have children, some being quite young. The challenge is great... they need strength, courage, encouragement and comfort during this time. Pray for all of them to be surrounded by God's healing grace. May His presence be felt, may His glory be revealed in their healing (mind, body and soul). God hears our prayers, for His Son promises us such... so bombard heaven for His will to be done... and for it to mercifully include complete healing....

My Daughter has to do a paper arguing against a proposed Amendment to the Constitution to address the modifying of the second Amendment to read "to keep and bear arms when serving in the Militia shall not be infringed." I know FReeper's are a wealth of knowledge, so I am looking for references: > Arguing against the modifying a currently existing Amendment > Arguing against the adding of an Amendment negating or infringing upon another > Arguing against the the premise that the right was only intended for those part of a well regulated militia Any references to court cases...

Hi All: I know you all are people of prayer... So I ask you to keep me and my family in prayer. My yearly physical identified spots on my lung... some nodules. They believe it is likely not cancer... but cannot rule it out. They are recommending another CT scan in six months to see if it has grown... If it has they will devise a course to identify whether it is malignant. I am seeing a pulmonary specialist in mid February for a second opinion.... Again, the majority of nodules found are beneign... but that is no guarantee... only...

My heart breaks as I write this....as I have posted before....my daughter has been fighting Heroin addiction. Yesterday....after entering sober living....she relapsed and OD'd. The medics brought her back....but we have no idea as to what to expect when we get to her....we are flying to her side as we speak... Please pray for our daughter...pray for us...to allow for God's will and grace to find and cover her in His healing.

Please pray for my daughter Amanda....she is in serious trouble and needs God's love, guidance and intervention in her life....please pray for my wife and I to have the strength and love to see this through...

This is so hard to write...but I believe God listens to prayer....so I ask you to pray for my daughter (and my wife and I)...I feel like I am watching a horrific event unfold in slow motion before my eyes....as if the world is caving in around me... My eldest daughter (19 years old) has just had a run in with the law...she has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (xanax) in the 7th degree. It is her first offense...but...given the crowd she runs with....it is fortunate that this is only the first... We live in NY, Suffolk...

FRiends: Once again I am facing the dilemma of possibly being unemployed over the next 6-7 months. My company is going through a major restructuring and is looking to dismiss up to 300 employees. I ask that you lift prayers to our Father asking him to be with my family and I....and with all those facing such....to give us peace, comfort, strength, and faith. We don't always understand our Fathers plan....and have to rely on his promise he will always provide and never abandon His children.....but sometimes I find it hard to put all my trust in Him. My friend Lawrence this week suffered a stroke....he is suffering numbness on his left side....last night he was operated on in hopes of decreasing the swelling in his brain....his prognosis is unknown..... I know our Father listens to our prayers....we may not always understand how He decides to answer.....but His compassion is evident through our lives and human history.... Understandably you may not know Larry...but if you could....take a moment and send up a prayer on his and his families behalf....pray for mercy, strength, and guiidence.... God Bless....

Hi All: Facing a possible layoff by the end of the year. I wish to be proactive...by getting my resume up-to-date, reviewing my finances...etc...just not sure what other things I should be pursuing...I've never been without a job and haven't had to look for one since college... I am a Junior Project Manager (Information Systems) with approximately 2 years of experience and have worked at my current company for 25 years (right out of college). Any recommendations on Professional Resume Writing Services, job sites, and any other subjects/items I will/should be pursuing? Thanks a head of time....

My Brother and Fellow Freeper recently lost his job....he is working hard on focusing all his energy in finding another....but understandably....he is a bit uneasy and nervous.... I've always felt the good Lord answers our prayers...and there is grace to be found when his people raise their voice in unison.... So please be so kind as to submit a request upon his behalf to our father....to give him peace, strength, and courage during this difficult....

I've been given the responsibility of finding Historical Images and Music for a power-point presentation we have to put together at work. My daughter was born in China, we adopted her 3 years ago; we live in New York State. We are looking to replace her Chinese Birth Certificate with a US recognized Birth Certificate....anyone in the FR community been through this process that can point us in the right direction?
