For a woke generation ... The early bird triggers the worm. A stitch in time is another example of white privilege. If you can't say something good, post on the internet. Early to bed and early to rise cuts into your party time considerably. If at first you don't succeed, join the Democrats. Always avoid the sunny side of the street. If you can keep your head while all around you are losing theirs, you will be ostracized for showing off. Inky Dinky Spider was a racist construct subtly denigrating people of color. Red skies at night, global warming. Give...

Look at this: http:www.globalnews.ca/news/10351645/winnipeg-pla-cyber-attacks-canada/ Canadian gov't apparently fast-tracked entry into Canada of a couple who have ties to the Chinese cyber-warfare training college, despite objections raised by Canadian Border security office upon their (separate) arrivals in Canada. They live in Winnipeg under the dubious concept of having retired there (for clean air quality). What else is dubious? They are in their 40s. You don't retire (in China) at 40. It is laughable, nobody in Canada would retire to Winnipeg, the Novosibirsk of the prairies. But it is close to that lab where Chinese scientists obtained and absconded with virus products...

I hope this may be of some general interest. My car's electronic panel says "engine oil has zero life" despite fact it was changed recently. In fact I got it changed about 1,000 km before sticker mileage and wonder if the previous owner somehow had that mileage programmed in, while my oil change service people did not know that and also did not program anything in (so the car's computer thinks I just passed a mileage requiring an oil change). The car runs fine, and I'm wondering if this bogus message can be erased by "restore factory settings" which seems...

Instead of my earlier idea of an on-line Jeopardy style tournament, I am rolling out this Never Ending Quiz. The rules and format are simple. I will start by posting a question (at the end of this post). First correct answer gets a +1 and the right to post a question. If you post an answer, and you are the first to post the correct one, I will alert you to post the next question. If you do post one, you should be prepared to check for answers within 5-10 minutes. This format will allow people to participate for as...

I have an idea after reading a thread, namely, a round of Jeopardy adapted to on-line real-time Free Republic participation. Read over these rules and if you want to be one of the first four to play, at 4 p.m. EDT, 3 p.m. CDT, 2 p.m. MDT or 1 p.m. PDT, register on the thread. First four will play (for 30 minutes), fifth to register is first alternate if one of the four fails to check in at start of play. I will post the categories at about thirty minutes before the start time so you can be thinking about...

The following states are likely to see widespread severe thunderstorms with a risk of damaging tornadoes -- s/cMI, se WI, OH, IN, IL, KY, TN, AR, eTX, nLA, nMS, nwAL The national weather service has issued an "enhanced" severe storm risk for this general area. I would not be surprised if this is upgraded later today. The dynamics of the system are impressive and lines of thunderstorms have formed overnight, ready to increase in strength with the approach of daytime heating. But it's already 75 to 80 F at 0500h CDT in parts of eastern MO and southern IL. I...

FReepers may recall some discussions of a case in Moab, UT around the time of the Gabby Petito murder investigation. A lesbian couple were found deceased from shotgun injuries in a remote campsite near Moab, UT. At the time there was some speculation that Petito's male companion Brian Laundrie could have been involved. It turned out otherwise. The link provided explains that police tracked down a former co-worker of one of the victims, who had already committed suicide in Iowa when the investigation located his last known whereabouts. Details in the link.

Hey smart folks, I'm one of those users who never figured out how to post italic, bold or underlined script, or how to embed photos from elsewhere into my posts. Any tips welcome. Thanks.

I would rather report this in my own words than link to some co-opted progressive news source. A while back, two native Canadians tried to open a bank account in Vancouver. Their relationship was something like grandfather and grand-daughter, or uncle niece. Anyway, it ended with bank employees making accusations of fraudulent purposes that supposedly involved fake ID (along the lines of "Indian status" cards). The bank called the cops who "attended" as they say, and arrested the pair. There were allegations of unnecessary force although that was not particularly obvious on surveillance footage shown by the news media. Eventually...

As there had been a thread discussing the mass casualty knife attacks in Saskatchewan last Sunday, the latest news is that Myles Sanderson, the remaining suspect at large, has been taken into custody in a rural area north of Saskatoon and south of the crime scenes. His brother Damien, at one point identified as another suspect, had been found deceased yesterday. Police reports indicate that a vehicle (evidently not the one previously being sought) had been stolen in the small town of Wakaw, SK, and shortly after that, the driver was arrested and identified as the suspect, Myles Sanderson.

I love to visit the desert southwest region, so I am fairly familiar with water issues in that part of the country. Two large reservoirs on the Colorado River, Lake Mead and Lake Powell, are both critically short of water after many years of high usage, mostly by the urban areas of southern Nevada from Lake Mead. As Lake Mead drops, water from Lake Powell is allowed to drain out at a relatively high rate, which also drains Lake Powell. Both are now fifty to sixty feet below their design (and former) levels, leaving a nasty "bathtub ring" of bleached...

Did you ever wonder what happened to Dmitry Medvedev? He was co-leader of Russia with Vladimir Putin between 2008 and 2018 and was seen as a moderate and somewhat pro-western compared to Putin. Under their constitution, Putin could not run for the presidency in 2008 and Medvedev succeeded him, promptly nominating him as prime minister. Medvedev revealed later that they had struck a deal, whereby Putin could run again as president in 2012. The term limits were increased to six years, Putin and Medvedev switched jobs, and continued to collaborate on a wide range of initiatives. The 2018 presidential election...

First of all, your correspondent is a trained forecaster and provides daily forecasts to various users. Also, I have specific past experience with air quality forecasting which may assist with the questions raised by limited or not so limited nuclear exchanges. The weather situation for the conflict zone looks grim for embattled civilians. It may not play well for the Russian forces either. Much colder air is moving southwest from the Urals region and has already begun to spread into northeast Ukraine overnight. Temperatures have fallen to -10 C (14 F) in some of the conflict zones and will fall...

What is the highest "Roman numeral" or descendant name in use in the world today? As a golf fan, I know of two men who use III in their surname (Davis Love and Notah Begay) but there's a senior golfer named David Morland who uses IV. Guessing he isn't the answer to my question, anyone know of people with higher numerals in use? (no Pope examples thanks).

I refer to the need for a revolution, but in technical terms it would be a counter-revolution. Globalists have more or less completed a revolution. It began in stages in the 1990s, grew to a flood in the Obama presidency (usurpation if you prefer). A significant number of Americans said, "wait, we are not in favor of this," and placed Donald Trump in office. This counter-revolutionary move was only partially effective because a lot of parts of the legislative branch were not sufficiently changed, so Donald Trump had to waste a lot of his energy appealing to a hostile Congress...

I thought it might be interesting to compile an up to date listing of various mask and vaccine regimes in place in various states of the USA and provinces/territories of Canada. If you are familiar with these in your jurisdiction, please add your stats and info.

This is the question that may be partly responsible for vaccine hesitancy -- those who believe that the last days may be imminent are reluctant to take on the "mark of the beast." I think the general context is fairly well known. A seven headed, ten horned "beast" arises in the last days, is assisted by various other figures, makes an alliance with a great red dragon, and enforces a "mark" to be taken in the hand or forehead that is required for participation in the beast's "reign of antichrist" society. The vaccine qualifies in some estimations because you can...

It is not official yet but I am hearing that Canadian politicians are discussing the possibility that the US-Canada border may reopen to non-essential travelers with the Canadian position being that it should be open to fully vaccinated U.S. citizens wanting to visit Canada. Not sure what the U.S. position is on this. There was to be an announcement soon as the border closure formally ends July 21st. A one-month extension is expected but after August 21st there may be some limited travel possible. I know there are some people affected by the border closure because of the land access...

President Trump was obviously opposed to the globalist agenda and went some distance towards his stated goal of "draining the swamp." However, after four years the swamp was still there, creatures slithered out of it and devoured his presidency. (to this date, we can always hope for a reversal through the courts) But it got me to wondering, what would a full-on, no holds barred, anti-globalist presidency and administration look like? I would submit the following would be necessary conditions for a president to qualify as "full on anti-globalist." 1. Kick the United Nations out of NYC and America, send...

Max Bernier, leader of the Peoples' Party of Canada, which is similar in policy to the Trump movement, was arrested today in Manitoba at a political rally outside Winnipeg. He had been warned by police acting under the province of Manitoba's health emergency laws that he could face arrest if he continued his political tour of the province. Stating that it was a constitutional right for him and his supporters to hold political rallies, he continued with his tour and the police made good on their threat, transporting Bernier to a jail where he is in touch with his legal...
