Vancouver cops decline order to attend ritual shaming ceremony

I would rather report this in my own words than link to some co-opted progressive news source.

A while back, two native Canadians tried to open a bank account in Vancouver. Their relationship was something like grandfather and grand-daughter, or uncle niece. Anyway, it ended with bank employees making accusations of fraudulent purposes that supposedly involved fake ID (along the lines of "Indian status" cards). The bank called the cops who "attended" as they say, and arrested the pair. There were allegations of unnecessary force although that was not particularly obvious on surveillance footage shown by the news media.

Eventually the two natives established they had legitimate I.D. and should have been allowed to open the bank account. The bank apologized, and so did the Vancouver police.

More recently, in the swirling climate of "reconciliation" and argy-bargy about residential schools having been like death camps etc etc (somewhat inflated rhetoric designed to do the work of the WEF, parallel to similar talk in America and Australia in recent years), the "nation" (for which read village) from whence this pair had come down to the big smoke demanded a ceremony of shaming that they said would be "reconciliation" (a term which apparently means rewriting history to suit a narrative that will assist in wrecking the national economy just to spite all of us who built the place up).

The police and the bank were to send all the requisite officials to be brow-beaten by native elders and participate in rituals that have an obvious quasi-religious foundation. Basically it would be like having to go to a mosque and listen to Koran readings if you had somehow offended a Muslim.

In fact some big-wig police and bank people did show up, but constables Wong and Tong (who had attended the original eff-up) said through their police union that they had other plans and could not attend. And I thought, well good for them, I would not really wish to be put through a ritual humiliation by leftists even if I had offended them, I mean, they're leftists, what do they expect, we are all going to clap and cheer at all their crazy "ceremonies" and processes which we all know are designed to wreck our society and guilt white men for whatever terrible harm white men are supposed to have done.

The native elders went on and on about how difficult things were in this racist and colonialist society, in their rather nifty digs on an isolated coast of central BC where there is almost no economic activity because leftists have shut it all down to save the earth and natives like to help with that sort of project. They are all of course high-octane crazy, the money that they demand for welfare and "compensation" (for what? they could go to school and get jobs) could only possibly be generated by economic activity. Vancouver under its recently evicted leftist council is a world class sh*thole where tens of thousands of homeless drug addicts wander the streets and routinely wreck whatever is left standing in most of the east side of downtown. But they love them a healing ceremony with all sorts of dark satanic looking rituals. Wong and Tong blew all that off and said, ya know what, shame the chief and the bank president if you want, we're just cogs in the machine. Or maybe they thought they had a card or two they could play in this high stakes game of ritual humiliation poker.

Now of course the natives (the location is Bella Bella) are in a big snit saying that the reconciliation failed and they wasted their time and are now even more insulted than when the two members couldn't open the bank account.

I am trying to work up some sympathy, cops can be pricks of course as any sensible person knows, there is little point in having kindly sainted do-gooders trying to enforce the law, we see how useful that is any time the United Nations tries to separate two countries who want to have a go. But in this case, I sense there are many issues not being discussed in the general buzz of the hive mind that controls our media and political classes.

What if a large number of us don't believe in the basic premises of this reconciliation, growing de facto native self government (at our expense, while they help leftist kooks wreck the economy and "save the earth")? What if we're just fed up with being lectured by morons who think that every nutty opinion they can manufacture has the instant status of fact, while our own opinions are those of fascists and colonizers even if they are based on far superior logical assumptions.

There's the problem -- far superior logic. That won't work with leftists. If they used logic at all they would instantly realize they were wrong about everything and decide to slink away at the first opportunity. Maybe in some alternate universe there's an Earth where that happens. I wish I lived there. Perhaps if I offer a sacrifice to the gods of nature? That's said to be a "powerful healing force" by people who wouldn't know powerful healing if they tripped over it on a dark night.

Anyway, it's an apocryphal tale which shall no doubt be repeated in different forms in all of our countries over coming years. And it's time we put our foot down and said, "no thanks, let's actually have a conversation and STOP LECTURING US." I know how this is likely to end. They won't stop lecturing and our society will be forced to fix the problem some other way.

Yes that’s it alright, my version may contain more truth than the Canadian government or media normally allow in reportage but judge for yourself. I sort of lost the plot a few years ago when hundreds of Indian villages of various sizes started to parade around the country as “nations” (which they are not, perhaps in large groups, but it’s like saying Wenatchee, Ellensburg and Yakima are nations). The more power they get, the more resentment comes up to the surface and it’s obvious what the real agenda is, take back the continent and drive the rest of us out. Far leftist kooks go along with it because they think the natives will like them and let them run the show. I can see that’s not going to happen, at some point the lefties will be put on the last boats and planes and shoved out to sea.

Of course none of that will actually happen, this is not South Africa with a 75% native majority, the most inflated claims here are 2-5 per cent. And what would happen? It would all devolve back to the status quo ante.

Three parentheticals and three uses of quotation marks in the space of one massive run-on sentence. It's like I'm reading the introduction to the Q threads or something.

Do they not teach writing anymore?

...take back the continent and drive the rest of us out.

They wouldn't make it three weeks before they leased their new land to the highest bidder and were shocked at how low the lease amount was. Three weeks after that they'd sue for the Kanadian taxpayers to pay their new costs.

Exactly why I gave up on the professional sports I used to enjoy; hockey, football, baseball and lastly NOOSECAR. The "messages" on the helmets, sidelines, end zones, boards,f computer generated on playing surfaces and spewed into microphones by announcers was enough to curtail my viewing. But when Daniel Suarez came into my living room to berate me and then he and the rest of the drivers decided to parade down pit road in 2020, I said Alpha Mike Foxtrot to NOOSECAR and all the rest. I had seen EVERY SuperBowl except for the last two and doubt I'll ever see another...no loss imo

I do write some long ones, no doubt about it.

No cat pictures though, problem with Q Anon threads is not so much the dense prose but just the lack of actual content, every thread is basically “trust the plan” but I would bet good money there is no plan, so it’s just the cat videos that bring me in at all.

Can’t edit, but would say hope is not a plan. Asking God in prayer is a plan, but leaves the details to God. So maybe there is a plan. I don’t think anyone now alive on the earth knows what that plan is. Getting rid of globalism is going to take more than cat videos anyway.
