Is this photo supposed to be of Alligator Alcatraz? When you look at Dade-Collier on google earth the layout of that airport doesn’t look anything like this photo.

Back in the mid 70’s the US military commissaries and exchanges in Europe did away with the penny. It was just too expensive to fly the coins to Europe. Costs that ended in a 1 or 2 were rounded down, those that ended in 3 or 4 were rounded up. Didn’t seem to cause any problems.

Me too. When exploring treatment methods I was leaning towards seed therapy when I discovered a brand new proton therapy facility in my community. It had just opened, in fact, I was their 120th patient.

12 years ago I was treated with proton radiation for my prostate cancer. 44 sessions. Outside of loose stools, no side effects from the treatment. I recently asked my doctor if my prostate cancer was cured since I had always been told that cancer is a disease that is never really cured, only goes into remission. He answered that I was cured as cured can be.

Runways have white paint markings and white edge lights. Taxiways have yellow paint markings and blue edge lights. They are color coded for just that reason.
