It's been a full week now since 970 WLFA stopped playing Rush's morning updates, citing "technical difficulties." 1. Have any FReepers in communities outside Tampa Bay experienced "techical difficulties" in getting your local Rush station to play the morning update? 2. If there's any Tampa Bay FReepers that have heard (semi-)reliable rumors about "real reason" WFLA is not running the morning updates, would you care to share?

Tonight's episode--I think it's new--has Bart and Homer playing quot;Scrabbleship.quot; Lisa comments on the quot;goofyquot; game and Homer says (paraphrasing here) quot;You just don't care about showing respect for those who just gave their lives for their country.quot; Coming on the heels of Operation Anaconda -- and knowing how Groenig (phonetic spelling) and company get these episodes in the hopper as quickly as they do -- I thought it was in typical bad taste. But maybe it's just me.

Newsradio 970 WFLA over the weekend reported that a homeowner in the Fort Myers (Fla.) area was arrested for "obstructing a police officer" (?) after he ran in to his burning home to retrieve an American flag.
