TAMPA - After borrowing a few dollars from his lady friend and a few from his sister,local lawyer Jonathan Alpert scraped up nearly $105,000 for past-due alimony and sprung himself from jail late Thursday....

Well, well. Found this in the "back pages" of our tbo.com (Did anybody see the front page of the Tampa Tribune (dead tree version) today, and compare it to today's St. Pete Times front page? Which paper is the local Commie Bolshevik rag anyway?) At any rate, note the "aw, shucks" tone of this thing -- one of the Tampa's most notorious RED hot lawyers caught. (Wonder whether "his companion, attorney Barbara Pankau," is related to WFLA radio's Bobby Pankau?) I did not see this story ANYWHERE in any of the other local media today. Gosh, couldn't happen to a nicer loy-uh...
