A United Airlines flight was cancelled after a female passenger suffered an explosive bout of diarrhoea and vomiting that destroyed the aircraft's tiny bathroom. Writer and actor Meghan Reinertsen freely admitted she was to blame for the mid-air disaster, revealing she spent an hour and a half locked inside the lavatory during the July 2024 flight from Newark to Indianapolis. Reinertsen said the nightmare began moments before boarding her connecting flight home from Portugal, when she suddenly felt the first waves of what she later discovered was severe food poisoning.

According to the Vientiane Times, workers at the hostel had entered his room after realizing he had not left all day and found him unconscious. Details still sketchy, but the Officer has been declared deceased: A Chicago police officer was fatally shot Monday night in the Chatham neighborhood, and another person was later found dead at the shooting scene, sources said. The shooting was reported during an officer-in-distress call shortly after 8 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Ingleside Avenue, according to police radio traffic. Microphones peaked as officers screamed into their radios while the chaos unfolded and a radio dispatcher tried to pin down the location of the officer who was shot.

It’s called “democracy.” It may be surprising to us, but there have been thinkersdown through history who didn’t believe democracy is the optimal system of government. Here is a quotation from one of them: “Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths. Theoretic politicians who have patronized this species of government, have erroneously supposed that by reducing mankind to a perfect equality in their political rights, they would...

President Biden has sparked outrage by declaring Easter Sunday will also officially become Transgender Day of Visibility. The White House doubled up backlash as it also banned religious imagery in submissions from children of military families taking part in the traditional Easter Egg Roll event, as critics branded the moves an 'attack on Christianity.' Former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy led the charge against the move, as he mused 'I wonder how (Biden) came up with that date' by having Easter Sunday clash with the transgender tribute day.

Mexico can continue to sue five Arizona gun businesses over criminal gun trafficking through the southern border, a federal judge ruled Monday. US District Judge Rosemary Marquez denied the firearms dealers’ request to have the case dismissed under the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA). She rejected claims that the statute, which generally prohibits lawsuits against the gun industry for crimes committed by third parties, barred Mexico’s allegations that the gun dealers’ sales practices helped fuel criminal violence south of the border. She found Mexico met the bar to carry on with some of its claims, such...

Prince Harry demanded to know the person responsible for downgrading his UK police protection when he and his wife, Meghan Markle, were stripped of their security in Feb. 2020. On Wednesday, the Duke of Sussex, 39, lost his bid for taxpayer-funded UK security protection for his family and will now have to pay out of pocket for his family’s security when visiting the UK. Court documents have revealed that Harry even asked for the identity of who demoted the level of his personal protection on home soil.

The wheels are coming off the mandatory “assault weapon” gun ban and confiscation scheme that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau launched four years ago. In late 2022, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, followed by New Brunswick and Yukon, indicated that their policing resources could not be used to implement, or assist in the implementation of, the federal government’s gun confiscation (“buyback”) program. Responding to a letter from the federal minister in charge of the program seeking “partnership and collaboration that support the safe roll-out of this program in your jurisdiction,” Alberta’s Minister of Justice/Solicitor General at the time stated that no...

So many sing about “the day that music died” on Feb. 3, 1959, when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson were killed in a plane crash. Don McLean coined the term in his 1971 hit “American Pie.”

Unimaginably, a staggering 500 federal agencies currently operate with almost no oversight. They procure items that our nation cannot afford, launch studies that are marginal at best, and manipulate the government in ways that the Founding Fathers could not have foreseen. These government agencies, headed by self-regarded elites, hire contractors in ever-burgeoning numbers. Since Biden took office, federal contracts that fall outside the regulations have made quantum leaps. Biden and company cannot issue them fast enough. Government Accountability Office (GAO) data shows that even before the useless expenditures to contain COVID-19, the Federal Government spent $665 billion on contracts, a...

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Illinois Supreme Court found the state's assault weapons ban constitutional Friday, overturning a lower court decision. Governor JB Pritzker signed an assault weapons ban earlier this year. In the 4-3 ruling, the court found, "First, we hold the circuit court erroneously entered summary judgment for plaintiffs on their equal protection and special legislation claims. Plaintiffs are not similarly situated to the trained professionals. To the extent plaintiffs claim they possess restricted items, they are not treated differently from the grandfathered individuals. To the extent plaintiffs claim they do not possess restricted items, they are dissimilar to...

Hunter Biden left his multimillion-dollar Venice Beach, California, rental home in a state of 'disarray and disrepair' and owing approximately $80,000 in outstanding rent, DailyMail.com can reveal. The scandal-mired First Son rented the sprawling property on the edge of the Grand Canal two years ago and moved in with his then ten-month old son, Beau, and second wife, Melissa, 37, in February 2021. According to one well-placed source, 'Hunter and Melissa were horrible tenants. Not only did they stiff the owner for months of rent, they left the house in terrible condition.'

Planet Earth is plagued with terrible governments, most notably those of Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran. It is not difficult to argue that one of these is the world’s worst. My vote, however, goes to the current US government for this reason: When the most powerful and influential country in the world has a dysfunctional government like the one run by Joe Biden, the equilibrium of the entire world is threatened.
